This is it. A one-off game against Newcastle. We’ve got little to lose, while the dirty Saudi-money-hungry scum have absolutely everything to lose. We, however, have absolutely everything to gain. We played efficiently against Preston on Monday and have been quietly impressive post-Coventry. And, we have a striker – a striker! – who’s on the scoresheet.

So, who’ll line up for this game for the ages today? We might well go to the three at the back system that worked well against Leeds, but I just don’t think we have the left wing back to play that system against this lot. I think we’ll go with a similar lop-sided system to how we played against Preston, with Pritchard playing narrow from the right in the presumed continued absence of Roberts. If Roberts is fit – which looks unlikely – he’ll play and Jobe might sit out, but I’m working on the presumption Roberts will be sidelined.
