According to The Unholy Trinity Everton Podcast, Sunderland have signed Nathan Broadhead on a season-long loan from Premier League side Everton.
The 23-year old forward has been involved recently with the Everton first team, but the decision has been taken to loan him out, if reports are to be believed.
Broadhead only signed a new two-year deal last month with the Toffees, but joins Sunderland in the hope of gaining vital first-team experience.
He spent a season with Burton in League One back in 2019-20, playing mostly on the wing, but has been successful with Everton’s U23s side, scoring regularly.
Broadhead is described as hard-working and pacy, with a good eye for a finish.
