Euro Roker Riches: The Euro 2020 Final is upon us... Last orders at the betting shop!

What bets have you got on as England take on Italy in their first major competition final since 1966? Surely, for once it really is coming home?

Welcome to a special edition of Euro Roker Riches, timed to align with the Three Lions trying to make history in England's first final in 55 years.

So many times we have come so close, so hopefully this can be the time that the incredible talent we have at our disposal really reaps its due rewards.

England take on a big challenge in Italy, who the press have much lauded for their 30-odd game streak without a loss. Their semi against Spain showed though that they can be outplayed, and in many fans' views, the slightly lesser team prevailed in that penalty shoot-out.

How will our Roker Report punters manage the stress of the grand final around their bets? Will they bet with their hopes and dreams or with their brains and wallets?

The Euro Roker Riches Table 2020/21 - Last chance saloon...

Only one winner among the Riches lads last time out…Riches page-meister Malc had a net 20 quid profit after his “toppy up” spread bet came in, The lads are not bitter (not even Bomber, who now drops a spot to 3rd), as the whole country won with the qualification for the final in extra time.

Many Danish fans have claimed Raheem went down easy, but in these days of VAR, the ref’s decision is checked and double-checked, and the spot-kick decision was upheld. Maybe we are finally getting the rub of the green we have been denied so many times over the years?

The table as we approach the kick-off against Italy is as follows. Matty is skint, so can only bet with the bonus he was awarded by the banker. Others are not far ahead of him, and only Phil and Malc have close to half their starting kitty of a ton.

Can Malc pip Phil in the last game of the tournament?

Banker’s Bonus...

The Banker’s bonus did nothing for our punters last game, but they get another twenty notes to put on their last-ditch predictions given England made it to the last match of the tournament.

There is no point faffing about anymore, this is the last round until the mighty mackems get back out on the paddock, so let's see what “shit or bust” bets our lads have on for this last Euro 2020 event.

This round’s bets...

Matty Crichton says...

England vs Italy Bet Builder: I am currently bottom with £0 to my name, but thankfully the bankers bonus gives me something to gamble with... so this is make or break!

England to lift the trophy, under 4 goals in the match for both teams combined, over 5 corners for both teams combined, over 2 cards for both teams combined and lastly, Harry Maguire to score anytime!

£20 returns £1,020!

Luke ‘Bomber’ Davies says...

Get rich Banker’s Bonus

Last game of the tournament before we get to lose money over again for the new season.

It’s new ground for us as England fans, unless you’re old enough to remember ‘66, so let’s try and go out with a bang. It’s a risk free Banker’s Bonus so I’ve been looking for something with an outrageous payback that still gives the first bet a chance too…

Kyle Walker to be Booked, Leonardo Bonucci to be Booked, Sterling to score anytime, Immobile to score anytime. Either team to win on penalties

£20 returns a huge £9873.20!

Malc’s man of the tournament Stirling…can he notch again and support Bombers boomer of a bet?

Euro 2020 Final Bet Builder

No context. It’s coming home. Get on this…

Over 1.5 goals, Declan Rice to be booked, Harry Kane anytime scorer. England to lift the cup.

£10 returns £228.61!

Phil Butler says...

Over 0.5 card in first 10 minutes

Let them know you’re there early… Kalvin Phillips or Declan Rice are the most likely here, but Chiellini et al. can also be dirty b*at*rds when they want to be. £10 returns £80!

He’s proven a great find this tournament, will he get carded early through passion and excitement?

Draw in normal time

This final is going to be cagy, and tight so I can see extra time or penalties being the decider.

£20 bankers bonus returns £60!

Paul Fletcher says...

England to lose on penalties:

I haven’t won one bet all tournament and I don’t intend to start winning them now. Therefore my remaining £10 plus my Banker’s Bonus of £20 is all going on the result I least want to see. A penalty shoot out defeat.

£30 returns £285!

Malc Dugdale says...

Bankers bonus - positive mental attitude...

Why not think a little positive for the first final in over half a century? England to win in 90 mins is boosted on SkyBet to 3-1. Given I have £45 left plus a bankers bonus £20, I’m going for this with the bonus.

£20 returns £80

Raheem to keep up his Sterling work…

Sterling to score, 4+ corners each team and 10+ booking points each team. Sterling is our biggest threat and is sure to start. With a couple of other factors added in, the odds of 11-1 are worth it.

£20 returns £240!

The Phil Beater…

It came off for me last time and I’m going with it again, as it’s good to have a bet which avoids the actual result. Maybe it will nick me top spot.

BTTS, 1+ corners each team in each half and 10+ booking points each team. At 4-1 this is worth a dabble, and it’s the last round so sod it. £25 returns £125.

And if none of the above come in, I’m skint with Matthew.

Go large or go home, and bring football with you lads.

Good luck to Gareth, the England squad, Hendo and Pickers who are proudly repping the Mackem army, and good luck too to all our fellow punters too.

Please remember to gamble responsibly, and enjoy the footy.

Cheers, and ha’way the Lads!
