Charlie Wyke to... Moscow?! It appears that he’s attracting attention thanks to his goalscoring exploits this season, as Russian side CSKA have sent scouts along to watch Sunderland’s top scorer.

Is Charlie Wyke is a wanted man? Apparently so, with news reports suggesting that Russian outfit CSKA Moscow have been scouting him ahead of a potential move.

Wyke is one of many Sunderland players out of contract in the summer, and the Daily Mail’s Mike Keegan says that the Russian Premier League outfit had the club’s top scorer watched during the game against Peterborough.

The report claims that scouts were present at London Road to watch the 1-1 draw with Peterborough to watch Wyke and his League One top-scoring counterpart Jonson Clarke-Harris.

With Premier League clubs potentially spending less this summer, cash-strapped EFL clubs and their are said to welcome potential interest from Russia as an extra source of transfer revenue.
