Sunderland have made a move for Hibernian star Kevin Nisbet, according to reports.
The Scottish Sun claim Lee Johnson is keen to make additions to his team and that has led to Sunderland getting in touch with the Scottish side to ask about the 23-year-old’s valuation.
Nisbet has been in top form this season, scoring 12 goals and providing a further 5 assists in all competitions, with only Rangers captain James Tavernier scoring more SPL goals than him this season.
Jack Ross is said to be keen to keep Nisbet at Easter Road but the Scottish Sun claim Sunderland are now at the front of the queue for the striker.
Nisbet only joined Hibs in the summer from Dunfermline, for whom he scored 23 in 32 games last season in the Scottish Championship, and was previously at Raith Rovers in Scottish League One where he scored 34 in 46 during the 2018-19 season.
