The State of Play
We had a week off but we’re back, and two new players join the game to resume the balances of previous contenders.
The only person to make a profit last time out was Danny Roberts, who nudged himself over the three-hundred pound mark and to put himself into second place.
We’ve all got a banker’s bonus bet to use this week thanks to Raheem Sterling.
The Table - Week #31
If any of the teams in the bottom three of the Premier League win their games this weekend, the banker will refund all losing bets from this gameweek. Nice!
This Week’s Picks!
Gav is going with...
BTTS treble: Norwich v Brighton, Wolves v Arsenal, Newcastle v West Ham. £10 returns £58.
Chelsea, Boro & Valencia all to win: I fancy the Warnock effect to take hold at Middlesbrough sooner rather than later. £10 returns £80.10.
FREE BET: Tenner on Villa to beat Liverpool. £10 returns £80.
Matthew Crichton is going with...
ENGLISH FOURFOLD: Brighton to beat Norwich, Leeds to beat Blackburn, Stoke to beat Barnsley and Cardiff to beat Bristol City. £10 returns £198.37.
EURO TREBLE: Juventus to beat Torino, Real Madrid to beat Athletic Bilbao and Barcelona to beat Villareal. £20 returns £68.69.
FREE BET: Fleetwood to beat Wycombe, Luton to beat Reading, Fulham to beat Birmingham and Chelsea to beat Watford. £10 returns £128.88.
Paul Fletcher is going with...
Banker’s Bonus: Saturday Sixfold - I’m looking for six home wins from Juventus, Basel, Braga, Fulham, Cadiz and Klagenfurt. £10 returns £114.25.
Sunday Win and BTTS treble: I’m so far behind that I need to go for a big win to try and get back in the running. Atalanta, Real Madrid and St Gallen are all clear favourites to win their games - hopefully they can all do this and all concede goals in the process. £10 returns £296.48.
Danny Roberts is going with...
Wolves & Brighton to win: This one looks like a solid double. £10 returns £49.50.
Championship Treble: Brentford, Fulham and Leeds to all win to keep their promotion dreams alive. £10 returns £40.71.
FREE BET: Huddersfield and Luton to both pick up a massive three points in their pursuit for survival. £10 returns £67.60.
Chris Wynn is going with...
BTTS: Huddersfield vs Preston, Luton vs Reading, Fulham vs Birmingham, Middlesbrough vs Hull. £5 @ 10/1.
Treble: Leicester, Wolves & Brentford to all win. £5 @ 5/1.
Malcolm Dugdale is going with...
Derby vs Forest is live on Sky Saturday lunch, and they’ve both got good scoring records of late so I’ll call that a typical derby day 1-1. Odds on most sites are 5-1, let’s have a tenner at stake.
In the top league, I think the Wolves V Arsenal game is also going to be tight. Arsenal need to regain ground on the Birmingham team pushing hard for Champions league slots, but the Gooners are fresh off a 4-0 battering of Norwich so they may well breach the Wolves line despite that being rare. Same score, 1-1 at 6-1 odds, staking a tenner again.
Lastly, treble on Man Utd, Juventus and Chelsea all to have home wins with the free tenner bet please? Odds are around 2-1.
Let’s hope for some beginners luck!
