Roker Riches: Sunderland are the underdogs with the bookies as they take on Coventry on Sunday

Sunderland face their toughest test of the season as they take on Coventry this Sunday, and are even slight underdogs with the bookies going into the game.

Danny Roberts

The State of Play

Only two losers last week - Graham and Paul both lost a tenner, whilst everyone else made a profit. The biggest winner was Danny Roberts, whose profit of £92.65 nudges him back into second place, though he’s still a way behind Gav at the top.

The Table - Week #28

Banker’s Bonus...

If Sunderland beat Coventry and keep a clean sheet, the Banker will refund all losing bets.

This week’s picks!

Gav is going with...

Sunderland to be winning 1-0 at half time: I honestly have no idea with this one. We aren’t the favourites for once and I think that if we win, it might be a low-scoring affair. £5 returns £30.

Treble: Accrington, Liverpool, Walsall. Fuggit. £40 returns £321.46.

Paul Fletcher is going with...

Sunderland to win 1-0 with Chris Maguire scoring the only goal: Would be ideal, wouldn’t it? I’m so far off the pace, the other gamblers have already lapped me so I have no choice but to start going for big wins. £5 returns £130.

Win and BTTS double: Win accumulators haven’t been working for me... BTTS accumulators haven’t been working for me... So a combination of the two is bound to work. Spennymoor to beat Telford with both teams scoring and Dulwich Hamlet to beat Tonbridge Angels with both teams scoring. £5 returns £60.

Rory Fallow is going with...

Sunderland to win BTTS: We have to win and it would be a huge three points. I’m confident we can but I expect goals from both sides, given how high we both are in the table. £10 returns £65.

Aston Villa to win: I know Man City destroyed Watford in last seasons FA Cup final but 18/1 for Villa to win in 90 minutes is ridiculous. Anything can happen at Wembley and my balance is hoping for a Grealish & co to lift the League Cup! £10 returns £190.

Danny Roberts is going with...

Sunderland to lose & Matt Godden to score anytime: Sorry! £5 returns £23.75.

Five Fold: Bristol Rovers and West Brom both win and Doncaster, Crewe and Swindon to all win/draw their games. £10 returns £71.12.

Matthew Crichton is going with...

Sunderland to win with BTTS: My gut feeling is telling me that Coventry will crumble under the pressure, the league is theirs to lose at the moment - can they cope with that? £10 returns £60.

EFL Treble: Leeds to beat Hull, Fleetwood to beat Tranmere and Doncaster to beat Wycombe all would appear to be reliable bets, less teams with more money on this week. £20 returns £102.03.

Graham Falk is going with...

Sunderland and Coventry BTTS: I think it’s a hard game to decide on and our record away to Coventry (or St. Andrews for that matter) is pretty dire to say the least. £10 returns £19.50.

League One fourfold: I really need to get back to winning ways as I haven’t won in weeks, so I’m going for Bristol Rovers, Oxford, Gillingham and Rotherham to win. £10 returns £77.45.
