Roker Riches: Despite being unbeaten in 9, Sunderland are the underdogs with the bookies today

Portsmouth 6/5, Sunderland 23/10 - despite being unbeaten in nine, Phil Parkinson’s side go into today’s game as underdogs. Will we defy the odds to collect another important victory?

The State of Play

Just the one winner this week - Rory Fallow got a big win with his FA Cup underdog double to haul himself off the bottom of the table and into third place.

Everyone else lost money, with Graham and Matty Crichton the biggest losers.

The Table - Week #24

Banker’s Bonus...

If Josh Scowen scores on his home debut - which, admittedly, is highly unlikely - the banker has pledged to refund all losing bets AND double all profits. No pressure, Josh...

This week’s picks!

Gav is going with...

EFL Treble: I’m sticking a tenner this week on Brentford, Rotherham and Plymouth all to win their respective games. Nothing sticks out in the Premier League worth betting on, so I’m leaving those games well alone... £10 returns £81.

Sunderland to get a clean sheet: Five in a row? £5 returns £18.

Paul Fletcher is going with...

Sunderland to win 2-0: At 16/1 this is a very tempting bet. Keep a clean sheet, frustrate them and then score twice in the last 10 minutes. £5 returns £85.

Fourfold: Kings Lynn, Wealdstone, Barrow and Elgin. Hopefully all these games go to form with no upsets and I can drag myself off the bottom of the league. £7.50 returns £82.48.

Graham Falk is going with...

Portsmouth to win: Yeah, I’ll admit it, I think we’ll get turned over this week. Things have gone far too good for far too long. £5 returns £11.

Fourfold: Oxford, Rangers, Hibs and West Ham to win. £10 returns £118.06.

Rory Fallow is going with...

Portsmouth v Sunderland Draw BTTS: Pompey haven’t lost at home all season, so this will be a tough one for The Lads. A win would be huge but I think a point is more likely. £10 returns £45.

West Ham & Aston Villa double: West Ham have been poor lately but they’re good odds to win at home to Brighton. I always seem to bet against Bournemouth and I’ll keep that up by taking Villa to beat them. £10 returns £91.

Danny Roberts is going with...

Portsmouth to win: I just have the feeling it’ll either be a home win or a draw on Saturday, but knowing us, a win for Pompey. £5 returns £11.

Leicester, West Brom and Leeds to win: Leicester the only risky bet this week, but the Foxes should be able to beat Lampard’s Chelsea. £10 returns £45.45.
