A hard-fought point for SAFC but arguably two points dropped... only Danny takes home a win from the bookies.
Once again, more betting slips hit the post than bulged the net this week, but with results such as Liverpool’s big loss to Villa happening, I’m sure the Riches team weren’t the only ones let down at the bookies.
Only Danny managed a return last time out, which took him from last place to right in the mix in the table.
Can he overtake Gary’s lead at the top of the table? A lead he has hung on to since week 1?
Only time will tell.
“But what will you bet on this week, with the lads resting through international call ups?” we hear you ask?
Well, with no run out for the unbeaten Black Cats, this week is a single bet only for each player.
A tenner is available for all Riches punters, with the conditions being we have to bet on an acca, and the prediction needs to include at least one International game.
The Rolling Table Week #4: Season 2020-2021
Banker’s Bonus...
Only Doncaster did worse than Sunderland last weekend, so no banker’s bonus this week.
This Week’s Bets:
Matty says...
English Fourfold! My quest to actually win a bet continues, as favourites continue to let me down.
This week I’m backing Posh to beat Northampton, Pompey to beat MK Dons, Exeter to beat Southend and Stockport to beat Dover.
£10 returns £82.93.
Gary says...
Risk it for the biscuit... 6 fold! Lincoln are at home and Bristol Rovers have been poor.
Posh to beat Northampton, Swindon at home, Salford at home, plus Montenegro and Spain in the Nations League. T
£10 pays £240.
Phil says...
Austria to beat Scotland, Kosovo to beat Slovenia and Italy to beat Poland.
I’ve gone for a Sunday international treble with the Nation’s League making these games slightly easier to predict than the old International friendlies.
Value is harder to find in international games than English football’s lower leagues, but odds of better than 10/1 for a treble would give me a healthy return in this Sunderland-less weekend of football.
£10 Treble returns £126.
Paul (PJ) says...
Mixed Fourfold: I’ve had a look at Saturday’s fixtures and picked out four teams that have winning potential.
Montenegro to beat Azerbaijan, Faroe Islands to beat Latvia, Exeter to beat Southend and Eastleigh to beat Altrincham.
£10 returns £115.11
Malc says...
Not very good predictions at all for me last week – hopefully the switch to internationals and League One games without our team involved will reap rewards.
I’m going for wins for Spain, Germany and Lincoln City, with a draw thrown in for Blackpool v Ipswich. We could do with Ipswich dropping a few points.
£10 returns £106.60.
Danny says...
I had a big victory last week, getting me back to a healthy total!
This week, I’ll keep it easy with a League One triple.
Swindon Town to beat Wimbledon at home, Lincoln City to make it four wins from four against struggling Bristol Rovers and Peterborough to ease past Northampton.
£10 returns £69.30
