Sunderland midfielder Dylan McGeouch is set to sign for Aberdeen today, according to Sky Sports.
The Scotland international has failed to force his way into Sunderland’s side for a prolonged period since arriving on a free from Hibernian in the summer of 2018, with neither Jack Ross or Phil Parkinson showing full trust in McGeouch’s abilities.
As such, he’s being afforded a fresh start with a move north to Aberdeen.
He’ll join up with Derek McInnes’ side - who sit fourth in the Scottish Premiership - in their winter training camp ahead of their next game, a Scottish cup fourth round game against Dumbarton in eleven days.
