Sunderland are set to lose another promising youngster from the Academy, with reports suggesting that Logan Pye will join Manchester United.
The versatile England youth international was in Manchester yesterday discussing personal terms after being given permission to by Sunderland.
The 16-year-old prospect had also been the subject of interest at Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester City and Liverpool but is set to sign for the Red Devils, despite having those options to choose from.
Pye, who can play in defence and midfield, is an England under-16 international and joins the likes of Sam Greenwood, Morgan Spencer and Luca Stephenson in leaving the Academy of Light in recent times after they signed for Arsenal, Leeds United and Liverpool respectively.
