The State of Play
It was another poor week for the majority of punters, all of whom had faith in Sunderland getting something at Peterborough. Nobody took advantage of their free £10 bets, and only one person - Matty Crichton - made any money. Matty’s win was a big one, and it catapults him into second place, just a few quid behind Danny Roberts at the top.
The Table - Week #6
We all had a tenner bet last week thanks to the banker yet wasted the lot, so he’s over the moon as you can imagine. Will Grigg failed to score against Peterborough so he’s shelling nothing out this week - a good week for the bookies when the RR lads are around.
This week’s bonus: If England score over three goals against Bulgaria, the banker will give each of our pundits a £5 free bet on next Saturday’s Wolves v Chelsea match.
This week’s picks!
Gav is going with...
Euro Qualifier Fourfold: Croatia, Portugal, Iceland and Italy all to win. £10 returns £133.
UK Fourfold: Portsmouth, Mansfield, Kidderminster and Kings Lynn all to win. £10 returns £139.
Paul Fletcher is going with...
England to win 5-0: Southgate you’re the one, etc. £5 returns £55.
Non-league treble: Bromley, York and Wealdstone to win. Hate the international break so I’m going for 3 teams that shouldn’t be too affected by international call ups. £7.50 returns £42.16.
Danny Roberts is going with...
Euro Qualifier 8-fold: Wales, England, Turkey, Romania, Greece, France, Brazil & Germany to win. £10 returns £53.98.
Treble: MK Dons to beat AFC Wimbledon as the latter looked terrible at the SOL, Plymouth to beat Oldham and Stockport to beat Chorley away from home. £10 returns £66.81.
Rory Fallow is going with...
Euro Qualifier Fourfold: France, England, Czech Republic & Croatia all to win. No real logic to this aside from backing the favourites. £5 returns £31.40.
Lincoln & Fleetwood to win: Lincoln do have a tricky game away to Wycombe and the bookies can’t split them, with very similar odds! I’ll hope for an Imps win though, while Fleetwood can hopefully see off Oxford at home. £5 returns £28.50.
Graham Falk is going with...
Belgium, Wales, Austria, Iceland, England, Turkey and France to win: All favourites with one destined to let me down. I’m going for Wales to be the idiots who do it. £20 returns £41.39.
Mason Mount to score anytime: What a cracking little player this kid is. I expect Southgate to start him and for him to get a debut goal to continue his goal scoring start to the season. £10 returns £24.
Matty Crichton is going with...
Euro 2020 Qualifiers Fourfold: England, Ukraine, Denmark and Italy to all win, only a Teemu Pukki special against Italy can destroy this bet! £20 returns £72.
British Fourfold: Not many matches to select from this week, Plymouth, Inverness, Wrexham and Dundee to all win provides fairly safe odds. £50 returns £367.50.
