Dear Roker Report,

You knew that this would happen , it allways seems to happen to us . Up till last week they were getting slaughtered every game, fair enough they were a make shift team full of youth players, they signed about 9 players on deadline day with a new manager, HOW many weeks has this new manager had to sort out his new team, not many I think. The inevitable happens ,they play us and collect thier due reward, WHY ? . SHOULD WE HAVE APPOINTED THIS MANAGER ? , who can sort out 9 players into a team in a short space of time that he has had .I am afraid the blood is boiling , for f—k sake Ross SORT IT OUT .

50 years a red n white

Ed’s note (Tom): Hi Anthony, thanks for writing in. I think it’s fair to agree that many fans are upset about the past weekend’s result and the fact that the team aren’t living up to the potential we have at our disposal. Ultimately, you’re right. Results need to be sorted out and fast because promotion is vital to the future of our club.

Dear Roker Report,

Just a thought, but how come you never see Simon Grayson and Iggle Piggle from the kiddies Night Garden programme in the same room together?? (They are one and the same).

Ed’s note (Tom): Erm... well this is canny random! I don’t know much about the show, but I seem to remember reading an article about how surreal and unnerving it is, which just so happens to be the exact same emotions I felt when Grayson was in charge. So, aye, fair point!
