PLAYER RATINGS: SAFC Ladies 2-0 Burnley Women - Lasses record impressive victory!

A dominant midfield performance saw the Lasses progress in the cup today, with a goal each from Jess Brown and Maria Feruggia.

Claudia Moan: 6/10

One dodgy punch, but she did nothing wrong on a quiet afternoon where she had very little to do. Good distribution in playing it out from the back.

Neve Herron: 7/10

Another impressive game from the England youth international, good going forward and solid at the back. Excellent first touch.

Grace McCatty: 6/10

Experienced head at the back and always looked to play it out. Matched her opponents the whole way through.

Charlotte Potts: 8/10

She made two crucial challenges in the first half and was simply too strong for her Burnley counterpart. Uncompromising and strong at the heart of the defence.

Faye Mullen: 6/10

Quiet, but competent and tidy in possession.

Keira Ramshaw: 6/10

Wore a protective mask all game which seemed to hinder her a little. Still managed an assist, though.

Mollie Lambert: 8/10

Another great game from Mollie who dominated the midfield in a box-to-box role. Superb performance and seems pivotal to any success the Lasses have in both boxes.

Jess Brown: 7/10

Another goal, she was a constant menace and keeps on impressing. She shows maturity beyond her years.

Maria Ferrugia: 9/10

The best player on the pitch. Strong, graceful and intelligent. Tough in the tackle, composed in possession, she was constantly at the top of her game from minute one. A fantastic goal, too.

Katie Barker: 6/10

A quiet game from Katie, but did nothing wrong and managed to fire in a few dangerous crosses.

Bridget Galloway: 6/10

Showed strength the hold the ball, but was marshalled quite well by Burnley. Unusually not on the score sheet!

Subs:

Abi Cottam: 6/10

Came on late when the game was already won. 6/10

Erika Warren: n/a

Came on too late to make an impact.

Georgia Gibson: n/a

Came on too late to make an impact.

Woman of the Match: Maria Feruggia
