Italian giants keen on academy product
Sunderland academy product Sam Greenwood only left the club last year to join Premier League side Arsenal but the striker may already be off to pastures new.
According to The Sun, Greenwood is a target of Italian giants AC Milan and Juventus - as well as unnamed German clubs - after continuing to impress for club and country at youth level.
Whether Sunderland retain any sort of clauses based on potential future sales is as yet unknown, though Roker Report have reached out to the club in an attempt to find out so stay tuned in case further news is given.
The striker scored three in three for England at the European under-17 Championships and the two Italian clubs had scouts there watching his progress as they considering making a move for the 17-year-old.

Maja to represent Nigeria?
Former Sunderland striker Josh Maja is being considered for a call-up by the Nigerian national team.
The London born 20-year-old has not been called up by the FA to represent England at any level, despite his form in League One last season and then playing regularly for Bordeaux in Ligue 1.
That has opened the door for Nigeria and their head coach Gernot Rohr says he has met with Maja, with the striker open to representing the Super Eagles due to being overlooked by England:
I ate with Samuel Kalu and Josh Maja since we have a second Nigerian in Bordeaux, he is eligible for Nigeria. I already started talking with him about the selection, absolutely.
We talked together, he’s pretty positive because he did not play for the under-20s with England. He can make the friendly matches, but he can do it only because he has not played for the U20s, which is the case for many others that we also have in our radar.
For Maja, it would be easier to have him. I have a lot of attackers, but it’s not impossible that I select him.
We are going to play a game in Ukraine, and I was told that it was too late to get visas for players who do not have a European passport but he has because he is also English, so he could eventually join us.
It is possible that I select him to go to Ukraine. It is possible.

Kimpioka called up
Benji Kimpioka has been called up by the Sweden under-21 team for their European Championship qualifier against Ireland.
The forward has two goals in two starts for the Swedish u21s but got sent off after receiving two injury time yellow cards last time out, during a 3-2 win against Finland, so will be hoping to get back to goal scoring ways at the Guldfågeln Arena on September 10.
