Sunderland have completed the signing of 20-year old Algerian goalkeeper Ahmed Abdelkader.
The former Guingamp youth player has penned a deal with the club and will join up with Elliott Dickman’s U23s side ahead of the new season.
Abdelkader previously spent time on trial at Leicester City last season, and has played men’s football in the Cypriot third division with ENAD Polis Chrysochous.
