Sunderland Ladies continue their quest for FA Cup glory on Sunday, as they face Middlesbrough Women in the first round proper this weekend (1pm kick-off).
The all-conquering lasses team have had a near perfect season so far, winning eleven and drawing only one of their 12 games this term, but have been out of action for a three weeks after seeing their last two games postponed.

The Lasses, who remain unbeaten in both league and cup, return to Hebburn Town’s Energy Check Sports Ground for an FA Cup Derby with Middlesbrough Women this afternoon - and if you haven’t been to see Melanie Reay’s side so far this term, now is the perfect time to start.
‘Boro Women are still the only side to stop the Lasses from winning this term, with Steph Turnbull’s side taking a point at Bedford Terrace back in August, so Melanie Reay and her side will be hoping to go one better - and there’s no better time to go and back the Lasses than now.
The game will be the side’s third derby of the season already, having already dispatched of Newcastle United Women at the Stadium of Light earlier in the campaign, as a brace from England youth international Jess Brown and a late Bridget Galloway winner gave them a 3-2 victory.
And Sunderland Ladies goalkeeper Claudia Moan is excited for her first derby of the season after missing the win over Newcastle - she said:
We’re really excited for the derby on Sunday. The team and I are ready to put right the 1-1 draw the last time we met with Boro.
It’s a big game for both teams and of course the North East as a whole. We’d love to see more fans this weekend, as the more support for us the better!
Kick off is at 1pm, with the game taking place at The Energy Check Sports Ground, the home of Hebburn Town FC, entrance is £3 for adults (£1.50 for season ticket holders) and £1 for concessions.
