The State of Play
Even despite the fact Sunderland had no game, our pundits collectively didn’t enjoy a particularly fruitful weekend of betting. Gav was the biggest winner, registering £121.60 of profit after both of his bets came in, whilst Paul Fletcher made a tidy £60.36 which ensures he’s ticking along nicely as we make our way through December.
Everyone else lost both of their bets - it’s tight at the top, with Graham Falk holding a slender lead in first place. Could we have ourselves another new table-topper after this weekend’s round of fixtures?

Banker’s Bonus...
Well, it has been another good week for the Roker Riches Banker - he’s slowly building his depleted funds back up after being shafted a few weeks back!
This week’s bonus: If Sunderland win AND keep a clean sheet, the banker will refund all losing bets this weekend - that’s how much faith he has in the Lads...
This week’s picks!
Gav is going with...
Gillingham v Sunderland - BTTS & either team to win: Betting on Sunderland feels like such a waste of time at the minute, so I’m going for something rather predictable. Both teams need to score and there needs to be a winner in the game for my bet to come in. In all honesty, I don’t really care how this does. £5 returns £14.50.
Fivefold: Leicester, Fulham, Doncaster, Swindon and Clyde all to win. £10 returns £221.
Rory Fallow is going with...
Luke O’Nien to score any time: This is now my default, go to Sunderland bet. £10 returns £95.
Manchester United to beat Manchester City: Come on, 11/1 for United to beat City is daft odds. When you consider that City have been dropping the odd point here and there, it’s not too ridiculous of a suggestion either. £10 returns £120.
Danny Roberts is going with...
Sunderland to lose: The Parky party to continue this weekend. £5 returns £15.
Cardiff, Oxford and Bolton all to win. I’m risking it with this one, however, all three have winnable home games and the odds are good. £10 returns £68.61.
Paul Fletcher is going with...
Sunderland to draw 0-0: Imagine if we made it through 210 minutes of football at the Priestfield Stadium without conceding a goal (or scoring a goal, or even managing a shot on target)... £5 returns £47.50.
Spanish Fivefold: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Huesca, Almeria and Girona. After are rare winner last weekend, I’m sticking with my adopted country. ¡Viva España! £15.23 returns £96.77.
Graham Falk is going with...
Sunderland to lose to Gillingham: Obviously, I’m getting up at 5am so we’ll definitely lose. £5 returns £14.38.
Alfredo Morelos to score anytime: He doesn’t score in the big games, apparently, but he will on Sunday as the mighty Rangers smash Celtic. £10 returns £25.
Matthew Crichton is going with...
Sunderland to win and BTTS: I feel like this is a must win for Parky and the lads will be well up for it, having said that we still cannot defend so I think a 2-1/3-1 would be my prediction. £10 returns £50.
Fourfold: Liverpool, Chelsea, Cardiff and Rotherham are all hot favourites this week! £10 returns £75.44
