The State of Play

Even despite the fact Sunderland had no game, our pundits collectively didn’t enjoy a particularly fruitful weekend of betting. Gav was the biggest winner, registering £121.60 of profit after both of his bets came in, whilst Paul Fletcher made a tidy £60.36 which ensures he’s ticking along nicely as we make our way through December.

Everyone else lost both of their bets - it’s tight at the top, with Graham Falk holding a slender lead in first place. Could we have ourselves another new table-topper after this weekend’s round of fixtures?

Gillingham v Sunderland - BTTS & either team to win: Betting on Sunderland feels like such a waste of time at the minute, so I’m going for something rather predictable. Both teams need to score and there needs to be a winner in the game for my bet to come in. In all honesty, I don’t really care how this does. £5 returns £14.50.

Manchester United to beat Manchester City: Come on, 11/1 for United to beat City is daft odds. When you consider that City have been dropping the odd point here and there, it’s not too ridiculous of a suggestion either. £10 returns £120.

Cardiff, Oxford and Bolton all to win. I’m risking it with this one, however, all three have winnable home games and the odds are good. £10 returns £68.61.
