Dear Roker Report,
I would like to add another voice to that of the reasonable supporters, who applaud good play. We applaud talent, like clapping when Arsenal did us over in the Premiership. We applauded our team off as even though they had been beaten they tried their utmost; proud to be wearing the shirt. We do not all want what is best for the club at the moment, as individuals want themselves to not look anymore stupid or foolish than they currently do. Therefore our once great club suffers while others hide away from the light they once sought.
I would offer this to the current owners who probably feel that the finances come first and that it was prudent to give the current manager a chance:
Normally (in any division) we give 10 matches to decide if it’s a fit, to see if the man taking over has the right stuff...
Well that time has come and gone, and the team drops further and further from the main goal, costing the club much needed revenue and places in the league. The time has come for the supporters to be heard or there will be no income to buy anybody. If the chants throughout the game were not enough then when will you listen?
A bit like poker; if the hand you have been dealt is no good... fold it. We did have time but I would say this season is a bust. Either replace PP or look at the coffers the end of this season if you do decide to keep him. You’ll be heading toward liquidation and relegation.
The money lent to spend on the clubs assets is being wasted.
Phil Parkinson must go before we have nothing left.
Adrian Scott
Ed’s Note [Sean]: While I’m not sure if we’re actually in danger of anything like liquidation, I’d agree wholeheartedly that Phil is a gamble that looks as likely to come good as a two and an eight off-suited. I’d have folded before the flop personally, definitely wouldn’t need to see the turn... let alone the bloody river.

Dear Roker Report,
I am not a fan of Phil Parkinson, but the standard of the Refs in league one is abysmal to say the least. Tom Flanagan’s goal should have stood. The Bolton keeper bottled it and the ref totally FUCKED up by giving Bolton a free kick for a foul on said keeper.
They should have VAR in all leagues, that way the goal would have stood.
PP get out of our club your making a total mess of it.
Rob Brown
Ed’s Note [Sean]: Aye the officiating down here has been something to behold, Rob. I don’t think VAR is the answer personally as the League one equivalent doesn’t bear thinking about, but a decent set of prescription lenses might be a start.

Dear Roker Report,
Hello lads as you know from day one I did not want Parkinson. You along with other fans always i felt took my views as negative. Well here we are lads Dec 27th and this is my view:
YOU AS A VOICE OF THE FANS ALONG WITH ALL OTHER MEDIA OUTLETS HAVE TO GET TOGETHER AND DEMAND THIS CLOWN IS THROWN OUT OF THE CLUB WE ALL LOVE. YOUR CONTACTS WITHIN IN THE CLUB AS MEDIA REPRESENTATIVES MUST BE HEARD BY ALL YOU MEDIA REPS AS THE VOICE OF THE FANS.
You weren’t happy when I called our so called manager pr**kinson you called it petulance. Well lads what I call this idiot is doing to our team is unprintable and unforgivable. I take no pleasure in proving I was right to want this clown gone from day one but he is still here cos people gave him a chance, well now lads could you please do all you can to get rid of the hapless one before (as I warned ages ago) he takes us into div 4. Thanks for listening don’t know if you agree with me but that of course is your choice or decision.
William and Jarvis
Ed’s Note [Sean]: As you may not know from prior to day one, I didn’t want Phil Parkinson either. I’d go so far as to say I’d have rather had the corpse of my long dead first cat, who I imagine even in the state he’s likely in now, would bring more personality and tactical nous to the role than Parky. But in all seriousness, all the outlets are receiving yet more evidence every day of the failings of the club and those behind the scenes, there are meetings being arranged with fan groups and others as we speak. We’ll keep you all updated.
