The investment in Sunderland AFC from the group formed by American investors John Phelan, Glen Fuhrman, Rob Platek and background partner Michael Dell has been completed.
After many months of speculation that a deal was being thrashed out between the club and the potential investors, the news has been reported on by The Times, the outlet who first named the group when speculation first emerged back in August.
Last month the group listed FPP Sunderland Limited on Companies House, which led to speculation that a deal between the incredibly wealthy foursome and Sunderland was reaching its conclusion.
A 'significant investment' has been made into Sunderland AFC by FPP (Glenn Fuhrman, Robert Platek and John Phelan). Stewart Donald remains majority shareholder in the club.
