The State of Play
We have a new leader!
Steaming ahead with an almost fifty quid lead is Danny Roberts, who moved above Gav into the top spot as his accumulator came in last weekend. It wasn’t all bad for Gav though, who made a small profit on his selections, as did Graham Falk, who continues to make steady gains each and every week as he stays close to the leading pack. It was another bad week for Rory Fallow and Matty Crichton however, as both pundits’ bad run of form continued.

Banker’s Bonus...
The Banker’s Bonus came in last week as England managed to score more than three against the git big racists from Bulgaria, meaning that each pundit has a free fiver bet to use on whatever they want this weekend.
This week’s bonus: If Phil Parkinson’s Sunderland can get off to a good start under their new boss by collecting all three points at Wycombe, the Banker will refund all losing bets!
This week’s picks!
Gav is going with...
Sunderland to win to nil: Why the hell not? We’ve not kept a clean sheet all season but since we’re turning over a new leaf we may as well win AND have a shutout at the other end - something we’re hoping becomes common place under the leadership of Phil Parkinson. £5 returns £22.50.
FREE BET - Fivefold: There’s a load of non-league FA Cup action going on this weekend and I’ve picked a gaggle of favourites in the hope there are no upsets and I can make the most of my free bet. Dagenham & Redbridge, Bromley, Gateshead, Maidstone Utd and Royston Town all to win... £5 returns £52.
Treble: Leicester, Swansea and Peterborough all to win. £10 returns £64.50.
Danny Roberts is going with...
Sunderland & Wycombe BTTS: Similar to the others, I think both sides will score in this game. I think Wycombe might win, but a new manager bounce might help us pick up a good three points - so it’s definitely going to be a good, hard-fought game. £10 returns £17.
Fourfold: Lincoln City, Liverpool, Ipswich and Swansea all to win. It’s a more riskier bet this week, but the the reward is high. In all of my picks, the side’s should win, so let’s hope for another big return this week! £10 returns £153.02.
Free Bet - Aston Villa and Bolton to win: It’s a free bet so this is worth the risk. Bolton are a much-improved side and they’re going to win soon, so why not this Saturday? £5 returns £31.50.
Rory Fallow is going with...
Sunderland to win BTTS: Time for the new manager bounce! I don’t think Phil Parkinson will see us get a clean sheet on his first outing though. £5 returns £25.
Bournemouth & Aston Villa to win: I’m doing quite badly so I’m going for two home sides to win against two sides who are in poor form. Just give me some money please. £5 returns £20.73.
FREE BET - Treble: A bit more of a risk here as I’m backing Sheffield United to win at home to Arsenal. Swansea should win away to Barnsley though and Bristol Rovers are great value at 5/2 as they travel to struggling Doncaster Rovers. £5 returns £130.30.
Graham Falk is going with...
Sunderland & Wycombe BTTS: I can’t call it this week but we’ll likely concede, and probably score a goal. £10 returns £17.
Fourfold: Chelsea, Celtic, Lyon and...Elgin to win brings in half decent odds. £10 returns £24.
FREE £5 BET: VV Venlo draw or win. Lee Barry is going to celebrate his Roker Rapport pod release this weekend with a solid weekend performance. £5 returns £9.75.
Matty Crichton is going with...
Sunderland to draw and BTTS: I can see a goal fest coming in this game as whilst Sunderland will be well up for it, Parkinson has had little time to properly get his ideas across and remedy our leaky defence. £10 returns £43.33.
British Fivefold: Bournemouth, Brentford, Portsmouth, Bradford and Inverness to all win their league fixtures, praying this comes off as I am suffering from a streak of terrible betting! £10 returns £155.73.
FREE BET: Why not try a sixfold when it is free! Chelsea, Leeds, Colchester, Celtic, Rangers and Dundee Utd to all win, sounds easy right? £5 returns £40.87.
