We’re back after the Christmas break!
In the last round of bets, Rory was the only player to register any profit with a small £13.75 earned but it was down the bottom where the action happened. Poor Chris plunged further into the red but The Banker may be taking pity on him this week (more on that soon), while Connor also went into debt after both of his selections let him down.
We needed a couple of weeks off frittering our money away and some time to reassess after the defeat to Portsmouth led our gamblers to a bunch of losses. Thankfully, Sunderland have bounced back since then, leading us to believing in backing the lads again ahead of a crucial game away to Charlton.
Let’s see just how confident our pundits are feeling...

Our Picks...
Gav - @Gav1879
Over 2.5 goals in Charlton v SAFC game: I’m really not sure what to expect from this one other than the fact there will be plenty of goals. £10 returns £20.
Fourfold: Villa, Boro, Carlisle & Ayr. £10 returns £137.
Rory - @RoryFallow
Sunderland to win BTTS: No chance are we keeping a clean sheet here but I’m confident we can out score The Addicks. £10 returns £50.
FA Cup 3rd Round Treble: Fleetwood are decent at home so should overcome AFC Wimbledon. I’m sweetening that with Accrington Stanley & Bristol City, two sides at home to strugglers in the division above them. Stanley face Ipswich Town, while Bristol City welcome Huddersfield to Ashton Gate. £10 returns £123.60.
Danny - @DJRoberts22
Charlton v Sunderland - Lads to win: One of our most difficult games of the season. Charlton, though, are without a handful of key players, with Joe Aribo, Jason Pearce & Ben Reeves the latest Addicks players to suffer from injury. Sunderland so really take this opportunity and get through a tricky afternoon in London. £5 returns £13.75.
Treble - Colchester, Bury& Burton all to win: I’ve resisted putting a risky FA Cup bet on. So instead i’ve gone for away wins for both Bury & Burton and what should be an easy win for Colchester. £10 returns £94.09.
Connor - @connorbromley
Sunderland to win and BTTS: We score goals. We concede goals. We also win games. This seems a no brainer. £20 returns £100.
Brighton to win: Liverpool lost against Manchester City on Thursday and I reckon their season will derail even further this weekend. £10 returns £100.
Dan Parker - @DGP202
Over 2.5 goals in Charlton v SAFC game: It’s a huge game but I can’t call it either way. So I’ll just call goals, and lots of them. £15 returns £30.
Threefold: Going for both Manchester clubs to win in the FA Cup and Dunfermline to win in the Scottish Champo. It’s a real glamour bet this one. £10 returns £19.17.
Graham - @AsylumDoors
Sunderland to win and BTTS: I went for a 2-2 on the Xrtra Pod as I definitely see goals in this one, but I’m going to push the boat out and say we’ll take it 2-1. Haway the Lads! £10 return £52.10.
Ayr, Sheffield Wed, West Ham, Chelsea and Man Utd to win: There’s no Bundesliga ties this week so I’ll have to go and bet on the British leagues, meaning I’ll lose money. £10 returns £73.
