Bryan Oviedo may depart Sunderland before the 11pm deadline with reports suggesting that he is set to join Championship club West Bromwich Albion.
According to Dean Jones of Bleacher Report, the left-back is set for a deadline day switch to the Hawthorns and Matt Wilson of the West Midlands Express and Star says the Sunderland defender is on his way to WBA’s training ground to complete his move.
Bryan Oviedo could also be joining #wba tonight from #safc. He's on his way to the training ground. Might allow Conor Townsend to leave on loan

Oviedo has fallen behind Reece James in the pecking order, has been restricted to substitute appearances of late and with the return from injury of Denver Hume imminent, it looks as if the Costa Rican international may be moved on.
Oviedo only recently gave an interview where he said he would likely stay at the club but due to the player being one of the highest earners at the club, it was always likely that we would accept any reasonable offer that came our way.
