Phew! Sunderland get back to winnings ways and our gamblers are back on form!
Well, maybe I’m exaggerating but a couple of the lads registered a profit and progress is progress. Don’t bring your “they only made a combined £27” comments to me, I don’t want to hear it. It’s better than losing money, isn’t it?
So with SAFC back to winning ways and well amongst the goals, will our pundits go for high scoring based victories for us at the Ricoh Arena? More money on Josh Maja to add to his tally? Can we bet on Chris Maguire just being an absolute adonis? Let’s find out!
The Table...

The Banker’s Bonus...
If Lynden Gooch gets another assist and Josh Maja is on the score sheet, the banker will give each player a free £20 bet on next week’s Premier League fixture between Liverpool and Manchester City.
Our Picks...
Gav - @Gav1879
Sunderland & over 1.5 goals: This one seems fairly straight forward! £10 returns £30.
Fourfold: Leicester, Wolves, Peterborough and Blackburn. £10 returns £260.90.
Rory - @RoryFallow
Sunderland to be winning at half time & full time: Unfortunately I couldn’t find any odds on “Chris Maguire being the absolute boy” so I’ll go for this instead. Our huge away following is going to have a lovely old time in Coventry. £10 returns £30.
Leicester & Burnley to win: Newcastle are still chasing that first win so I can see Vardy & co. giving them a tough afternoon. Burnley will be buoyed after their big victory last week, so I fancy them to beat struggling Cardiff City. £5 returns £44.55.
Danny - @DJRoberts22
Sunderland to win: I fancy us to win this weekend. Coventry are a bit hit and miss, but the big pitch at the Ricoh Arena should suit us and let us control the game. £5 returns £12.25.
Fourfold - Man City, Wolves, Newport and AFC Flyde all to win: I was a minute away from winning £70 last week - thanks to Portsmouth conceding in the 90th minute last week - so I’m hoping for better luck with this fourfold. £10 returns £65.83.
Bromley - @connorbromley
Sunderland to score first: I lost last week cause we conceded a stupid goal and I had us to win to nil. This week I am just saying we will score first. £10 returns £19.90.
Newcastle and Spurs to win: I never bet on the Mags to win but I have a feeling they will get their first of the season against Leicester this weekend. Spurs travel to Huddersfield and they should have more than enough to dispatch them with ease. £10 returns £37.50.
Dan Parker - @DGP202
Sunderland & over 1.5 goals: This is a banker. Put your mortgage on it... or just a tenner, actually. £10 returns £30.
Premier League Threefold: Nice and simple bets this week. Wolves, City, and Spurs to win. £10 returns £19.
Chris - @chrissavedlatin
Sunderland & Man City to win: I’m bending the rules a bit here but I'm on £0 so who cares. The best team in the country and Manchester City to win this weekend, easy! £100 returns £250.91.
Arsenal, Spurs, Leicester, Derby & Boro to win: One has to come in eventually... £20 returns £477.53.
Graham - @AsylumDoors
Sunderland & over 1.5 goals: I’m copying Gav. This is a safe bet with good returns. £10 returns £30.
Arsenal, Blackburn, Swansea and Fleetwood: Not exactly a safe bet, but a weirdly handsome return makes it worth it. I think it’ll be four home wins for this lot. £10 returns £301.53.
