It’s been nice to brag about how well we’ve been doing with our bets so far this season. It was not so nice for us all to lose money last time out. We took a short hiatus last week since it was the international break, so hopefully our gamblers come back to Roker Riches fresh and ready to go.
One player who really will have to consider their selections this week is Chris, who foolishly bet his £88 balance last week only to lose both bets. We were doing so well Chris, why did you have to ruin it?
Will Chris make a recovery or will he plunge into debt? Let’s see what him and the rest of the lads are going for this week.
The Table...

The Banker’s Bonus...
If Sunderland can overcome Burton without going behind in the game, the banker will give each player a free £10 treble on next week’s Championship fixtures.
Our Picks...
Gav - @Gav1879
Sunderland to win: The Lads are evens to win this weekend and whilst it feels like we’re on the precipice of a defeat, I would like to think we can go to Burton and turn them over. £20 returns £40.
Fourfold: Wolves, Derby, Fleetwood (who I was very impressed by last weekend) and Lincoln. C’mon! £10 returns £155.
Rory - @RoryFallow
Sunderland to win and Jerome Sinclair to score any time: I fancy Sinclair to start and his pace should cause Burton problems. Hopefully his goal contributes to a win for the lads! £5 returns £24.55.
Everton, Derby & Preston to win: I can’t emphasise this enough - just back whoever is playing against West Ham. Everton have that honour this weekend so I’ll take them along with Derby, who are evens to win away to Rotherham, and Preston, who host bottom of the table Reading. £5 returns £36.75.
Danny - @DJRoberts22
Sunderland to win: The Lads are evens this weekend and Burton haven’t pulled up too many trees this season, so I fancy us to pick up all three points. £5 returns £10.
Fourfold - Wolves, Chelsea, Bolton & MK Dons all to win: A couple of risky punts, but at just over 10/1, it’s worth it. £5 returns £56.87.
Bromley - @connorbromley
Sunderland to win and over 2.5 goals: I reckon we are built to play away from home and with Burton having so many injuries we should be able to get all three points. That said, we are likely to concede - so over 2.5 goals makes sense. £5 returns £15.50.
Chelsea, City and Swansea to win: Chelsea and City are surely bankers at home to newly promoted Cardiff and Fulham. Swansea have been good this season and host Nottingham Forest who have been underwhelming so far this season. £10 returns £30.38.
Dan Parker - @DGP202
Sunderland to win: A nice simple bet for what I’m hoping is going to be a nice, easy victory. I’m confident we can get three big points away to Burton. £15 returns £30.
Fivefold Acca: Going to need one of these to come in soon. Got Wolves, City, Derby, Chelsea, and Fleetwood on my slip this weekend. £8 returns £97.15.
Chris - @chrissavedlatin
Burton to win and BTTS: I backed the lads massively last time round and it has bit me on the backside. Whatever I bet, the opposite appears to happen. So for the greater good I’m backing the lads to LOSE so that we WIN, I’m a genius... £5 returns £37.50
Bournemouth, Bolton and Boro to win: A sensible wee treble to get me back above £0. £5 returns £77.63
