Competition for winger
Jack Ross was recently linked with a move for Kilmarnock’s former Middlesbrough winger Jordan Jones, but if the Scot wants to sign the 23-year-old he may have to move quickly, with reports suggesting that Hull City may swoop for the player.
According to the Daily Mail, Hull are ready to make an opening offer of £600,000 for Jones in the hopes of beating Sunderland, Rangers and Derby County to his signature.
Jones is a full international for Northern Ireland and has one year remaining on his Kilmarnock contract.

League One owner hints at Sunderland interest?
Peterborough United owner Darragh MacAnthony was answering fan questions on Twitter last night, when he hinted that his club had turned down an approach from Sunderland for central defender Jack Baldwin.
Ex-Hartlepool United defender has been transfer listed by Peterborough, with Barry Fry saying the club want a ‘reasonable fee’ for the player. MacAnthony replied on Twitter to a user asking if Charlton Athletic had shown interest in the 24-year-old, saying he isn’t sure about that but that they had turned down an approach from a ‘big, big League One club’ and that they had turned down the ‘paltry’ offer.
Not sure but turned down an approach from big big L1 club for him last week. https://t.co/TNQ1Nc2eM1

Turkish interest in duo
Darron Gibson has been a free agent since he was released by Sunderland back in March following his drink driving incident. His availability has apparently caught the eye of Turkish club Ankaragücü, who are expected to make the Irish international an offer in the near future.
Ankaragücü were promoted to the Süper Lig last season and will be looking to strengthen their squad ahead of a season in the top flight, so it’s unclear why they are interested in Gibson.

If the ex-Everton man does move to Turkey, he may line up against former Sunderland team-mate Papy Djilobodji - who has been linked with a move to Trabzonspor.
The Turkish club are looking to add a central defender to their squad and Djilobodji is thought to be on their shortlist. The 29-year-old has two years remaining on his Sunderland contract and his loan club from last season, Dijon, were interested in re-signing the player but it’s believed his wages are an obstacle for the French club.
Should he sign for Trabzonspor he will link up with his Senegalese international team-mate and former Sunderland striker Dame N’Doye.
