Roker Riches: Sunderland v Burton in the battle of the sh*ts - odds on Darren Bent scoring? 2/1!

Think it’s inevitable that Darren Bent will score against us this weekend? Put your money where your mouth is - he’s 2/1 to bag one at any time!

We thought the gamblers were back on form but that proved to be a flash in the pan.

Only Connor, the player in biggest debt, managed to register a profit last week as his Premier League treble came in. Just another £400 to claw back and he’ll be out of the red!

We were all fairly optimistic about Sunderland’s chances last week and had they not thrown away another lead, we would have been looking at a lot more money coming in. Will the lads keep the faith this week, as Burton travel to the SoL?

The Table...

The Banker’s Bonus...

The banker actually fancies Sunderland to get a result against Burton this weekend. With that in mind, he’ll only give a bonus to the gamblers if Sunderland win and keep a clean sheet. The reward will be a free £5 treble on next weekend’s Championship fixtures.

Our Picks...

Walshie - @Walshie409

Sunderland to win by 3 or more: Great escape starts here, lads. £3 returns £21.

Fivefold: Rochdale, Luton, Cardiff, Liverpool and Wolves all to win. £1 returns £16.83.

Gav - @Gav1879

Sunderland to beat Burton, 19/20: Need to box clever and Sunderland are crap to bet on, so I’m practically throwing this one. £0.50 returns £0.98.

Fourfold: Wolves, Middlesbrough, Luton and Macclesfield all to win. £10 returns £235.75.

Rory - @RoryFallow

Sunderland to win BTTS: Both teams are crap and the defences are the worst part of each side. I think there’ll be goals, so I’ll just hope that Sunderland come out on top. £5 returns £23.75.

Burnley & Wolves to win: Burnley are in great form and travel to Stoke, who are the polar opposite. Wolves are evens to win away at Bolton so this is good value for two sides who should win. £10 returns £66.

Danny - @DJRoberts22

Sunderland v Burton - Sunderland to win: No real pressure as we’re basically already down, so I’ll predict a comfortable win for the Lads. £3 returns £5.55.

Shrewsbury, Notts County and Cardiff to win: Manchester United cost me back-to-back acca wins last week. Hopefully I’ll have better luck this week with home bankers. £10 returns £35.

Connor - @ConnorBromley

Darren Bent to score anytime: He started this horrendous downturn when he left - why does he not just finish it? £50 returns £150.

Birmingham to beat Sheffield United: If Burton can beat us and Birmingham win we will be put out of our misery. £50 returns £150.

Graham - @AsylumDoors

Sunderland to win: I need to see the Lads win, I’ve missed about 4-5 matches since 2016 and since two of those five were Fulham and Hull at home it’s been 450+ days since I last saw us win. I’m going - please God let me see a win. £50 returns £95.46.

Liverpool, Swansea, Cardiff, Forest Green Rovers: Liverpool are on fire and Manchester City have been all season, I fancy Cardiff to topple Nottingham Forest, whilst also I do love those vegan mo’fuckers Forest Green Rovers. £20 returns £108.67.

Dan Parker - @DGP202

Sunderland to win and BTTS v Burton: We’re already down but see us winning this one. Neither team has the first clue how to defend mind. £4 returns £19.

Harry Kane to score and Spurs to win 2-0 v Man United: Can see United failing to show up at Wembley in the semi and Spurs (and Kane) making them pay. £4 returns £60.
