Roker Riches: Aiden McGeady to cap his Sunderland return with a goal? He’s 15/4 to score anytime

It’s big, it’s bad, it’s intense, it’s electric, it’s wild, it’s crazy, it’s mental, it’s berserk, it’s wacky, it’s off the charts, it’s none of those things - IT’S THE ROKER RICHES!

Dafabet.com | RokerReport.com

I feel like we learned two lessons last week. Lesson #1 - Never think Sunderland are predictable and back them to lose against a side much higher than them in the league. Lesson #2 - The mags will always find a way to ruin your bet slip, never bet on them even if you’re backing them to lose.

It’s fair to say that none of us bet on a high scoring draw or Bristol City scoring two own goals, so there were no winning Sunderland bets (lol @ Walshie who put £50 on a Bristol win). Then quite a few of the gamblers had bets involving Manchester United beating Newcastle which, as we know, just didn’t happen (lol @ Bromley who had £50 on Man United).

There’s also some ire for Ipswich. You can’t even beat Burton Albion? Even we could beat Burton bloody Albion! That result saw a few slips get torn up.

Well, let’s see if we can all get back to winning ways eh?

The Table...

The Banker’s Bonus...

If an own goal is scored in Sunderland’s favour, the banker is once again offering to add an extra £10 to all winning bets.

Our Picks...

Walshie - @Walshie409

Brentford to win: Come on, old reverse psychology. £10 returns £22.50.

FA Cup six-fold: Leicester, Sheffield Wednesday, Tottenham, Chelsea, West Brom and Man City all to win. £3 returns £76.89.

Gav - @Gav1879

Aiden McGeady to score anytime, 15/4: What better way to mark your return to the starting line-up than with a goal? Haway, Aiden. £7 returns £33.25.

Man Utd, Sunderland & Aston Villa treble: For the first time ever I’ve put Sunderland in an accumulator. Blame me when we don’t win on Saturday... £10 returns £154.91.

Rory - @RoryFallow

Sunderland to win & over 2.5 goals: Don’t just give us a win lads - give us some goals. £5 returns £27.50.

Huddersfield to beat Manchester United: If Newcastle can beat them, why not Huddersfield? £5 returns £35.

Tom - @TommyAkki

McGeady to score anytime: Ha’way le bonny lad! Hopefully reinstated to the starting XI where he will lead us to a much needed victory. £14 returns £66.50.

Huddersfield to beat Man Utd: Rory’s bold bet has inspired me. £10 returns £70.

Danny - @DJRoberts22

Sunderland v Brentford - over 2.5 goals: We’ll probably lose and lots of goals will be scored. It’s the new Sunderland way. But to be safe, I’ll just punt on the goals scored to be 3 or more. £3 returns £5.73.

Brighton, Falkirk and Peterhead all to win: I got unlucky last week, but this week will be a winner - ‘cause I’m banking on the clear favourites. £10 returns £24.76.

Bromley - @connorbromley

Sunderland to win: I am blind with optimism. £10 returns £33.

Huddersfield and Man Utd to draw: My attempts at logical betting has failed all season. So I have went with a random bet. £10 returns £21.97.

Graham - @AsylumDoors

Aiden McGeady to score anytime, 15/4: I’m copying Gav, Tom and Dan - it’s a pretty sound bet. McGeady is class when he wants to be. £10 returns £47.50.

Brighton, Celtic, Schalke, AC Milan fourfold: Safe to safe-ish bet on alright returns. £10 returns £57.17.

Dan Parker - @DGP202

Aiden McGeady to score anytime, 15/4: These price-boosted odds tempt me in a big way. Haway, Aiden lad. £8 returns £38.

8 team acca: Atletico, Napoli, Lazio, PSG, Spurs, Brighton, Tranmere, and Oxford. Just can’t resist an 8 team acca even if these odds aren’t the best. £4 returns £81.50.
