Another miserable week!
There were only two winning bets for the boys in our last edition of Roker Riches. Danny managed to scrape together a few pennies by backing Boro to beat us, but he still ended up losing money due to his other bet losing.
Things are looking up for Graham though - the twenty quid he brought in is edging him ever closer to a positive balance and he’s third off bottom now! Scenes!
Let’s see if we can pull ourselves out of our collective rut with our latest round of picks.
The Table...

The Banker’s Bonus...
If Sunderland come away from the Welsh capital with three points, the banker will give each player a free £10 bet on next week’s Serie A fixture between Inter Milan and Roma.
Our Picks...
Gav - @Gav1879
Sunderland to win + BTTS, 10/1: The top brass at Dafabet have priceboosted this one and I reckon that was rather canny of them. Have a fiver on my money, mugs. £5 returns £55.
Brighton, Boro, Aberdeen & Blackburn to win: This one has big odds. Why not? £10 returns £602.
Rory - @RoryFallow
Aiden McGeady to score any time: I’ve been tempted by the price boost here and this is a bet I had a good run of luck with earlier in the season. Ha’way Aiden, get that consolation goal! £5 returns £32.50.
Brighton & West Ham to win: Both sides are good odds, considering they’re facing teams in poor form. I’m aware that both Brighton and West Ham are hardly brilliant themselves but let me believe. £5 returns £60.
Connor Bromley - @connorbromley
Cardiff to win: The way I look at it, if we win then happy days. If we lose then I win a bet. So I am going for Cardiff. Plus we are shite. £10 returns £17.50.
Blyth Spartans to win: Anyone who knows me will tell you that I am a proud supporter of Blyth Spartans. This weekend we play Bromley FC - a team that bestows my name. Therefore it only seems right that I should use my Roker Riches bet to back my hometown team. £5 returns £13.13.
Graham - @AsylumDoors
Cardiff and over 1.5 goals: I took ‘Boro to beat us 2-0 last week and won all of that sweet, sweet dough. I’ve pulled it back from a pretty decent position & I’m close to getting out of the red - this is a sensible bet. £5 returns £11.
Wolves, Swindon and Real Madrid to win: Wolves are probably the only team in this league you can bank on. Against my better nature I’m betting against ‘team vegan’ Forest Green ‘cause they’re pretty crap, and Real Madrid are at the Bernabau so should win. £10 returns £36.13.
Danny - @DJRoberts22
Sunderland and Cardiff to draw: I’m not sure how this will play out. We have nothing in terms of attacking players, so we’ll have to hope Jake Clarke-Salter has an immense debut and helps us to a clean sheet to help gain a point. £3 returns £10.80.
Wigan, Wolves and Bradford to win: I should give up now. £10 returns £40.
Tom - @Tommyakki
Maja to score anytime: I don’t think we have any other viable options up top, if truth be told, and if we do score I think Josh Maja is a canny bet. £10 returns £40.
Brighton, Boro, Aberdeen & Blackburn to win: Continuing with my sneaky ploy of copying the king of the gamblers bets until one comes off. Why not, indeed? £10 returns £602.
Dan Parker - @DGP202
Cardiff vs Sunderland to draw: Can’t see a win. Can’t see a draw if I’m being completely honest. But can’t bring myself to bet on the Lads to lose. So draw it is. £5 at 13/5 returns £18.
7 team acca: Lazio, Juve, Chelsea, Arsenal, Wolves, Wigan, Lyon all to win. £10 returns £149.51.
Walshie - @Walshie409
Josh Maja to score anytime: This was going to be James Vaughan but apparently he’s been sold. I am no longer Vaughany. £3 returns £12.
Fivefold accumulator: The big dawg special - Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Wolves, Chelsea and Luton all to win. £2 returns £19.
