The EFL releases a handbook each season detailing the rules and regulations all teams must follow for the 2017-18 season and, included in that handbook is full details of all 72 teams in the EFL ladder.
That’s interesting to us as teams must put forward their kits that they will play in this season, which provided the first proof of the much talked about grey third kit. According to the handbook the kit is a grey shirt, with black collar and cuffs, black shorts, grey socks with black trim and the all the Adidas trim is yellow.
We have quickly mocked up what the shirt could look like using Adidas’ ‘Mi Team’ kit designer:

The folks at historicalkits.co.uk have also included their own mock up of what the full kit could look like in their line-up of Championship kits for this season, with a similar design as our own mock up but with a lighter shade of grey:
As yet there is no word on when the kit will be released or whether it will ever reach the club shop but what do you think of the third kit? Let us know in the comments.
