Now this could just be us putting 2 and 2 together and making five, but could Crystal Palace midfielder Jonny Williams be set for a move to Sunderland?

The below tweet randomly surfaced this afternoon from a Twitter user called Martin Cook, asking SkyBet what odds they would give on Williams to sign for our club.

Further digging brought me to the website of New Era Global Sports, a player agency based in London that represent Williams. Their other clients include current Sunderland player Brendan Galloway and Leicester City midfielder Andy King.

On their Instagram page, New Era posted the following on their story, indicating they were headed to Wearside for talks.

Skysports have reported that the midfielder could join a Championship club on loan.
