Jordan Pickford - 3
Should have done much better for the first goal, which went in off his arm, and then gave the ball straight to Pedro for Chelsea's fourth. He's better than what we saw today.
Bryan Oviedo - 5
Alright, I suppose. Should be fine in the Championship next season but we need to sign some competition in his position.
Joleon Lescott - 4
Played really well until the monumental fuck up he caused which led to Pedro's goal and Chelsea's third. Somehow don't see him getting a new contract, do you?
John O'Shea - 6
Kept Diego Costa quiet right up until he came off and defended well. I know there are many Sunderland fans who aren't keen on him but for me he needs to be offered a new deal at the end of the season.
Billy Jones - 3
Dross. Got his arse torn out by Hazard for the second Chelsea goal.
Javier Manquillo - 6
Scored a nice goal to start the game off but did very little else of note.
Lee Cattermole - 5
Was always going to struggle against a world class opposition midfield - had a few tame efforts at goal in the first half which failed to test Courtois.
Jack Rodwell - 4
I hope that's the last time we see him in a Sunderland shirt - to me he epitomises everything wrong about this football club.
Sebastian Larsson - 4
Pointed, shouted, ran about, pointed, shouted, ran about. Bye bye.
Adnan Januzaj - 3
Did nothing of note before being replaced by Lynden Gooch just after the second Chelsea goal. I wish that I could say that I was sad to see him leave but I'm not. Heartless, passionless piece of crap that has treated this football club with complete contempt throughout his pathetic stay here.
Fabio Borini - 3
Played up front on his own and did nothing. An ironic end to his Sunderland career?
Lynden Gooch (Sub) - 5
Can't even remember if he touched the ball.
Darron Gibson (Sub) - 5
What was the point in bringing him on with two minutes to go? Appearance money?
Who was your man of the match v Chelsea?
