Jordan Pickford - 6
Had very little to do in truth other than pick the ball out of his net at the end. One of the only players to come out of this miserable campaign with any credit.
Donald Love - 3
It was a bad day at the office for Donald Love, who did very little right all afternoon bar clear a shot off the line in the first half. Needs to improve if he's to be anywhere near ready for a stint in the Championship.
Javier Manquillo - 5
Quiet. I don't remember him doing anything, really.
John O'Shea - 5
Was poor again for the Bournemouth goal. Seems to have became a weekly occurrence where he's nowhere near his man on the opposition goal - other than that had a decent enough afternoon and kept Afobe quiet for the most part.
Lamine Kone - 6
Slightly better than he has been recently. Might well end up copping a ban for his part in the handbags towards the end of the game between the Sunderland and Bournemouth players.
Steven Pienaar - 0
What a waste of time.
Didier Ndong - 7
Our best player. Had to do the work of three players in the centre of the park in the first half and was up and down the pitch throughout. His passing has improved and I feel that over the course of the season he's probably been our most consistent player.
Fabio Borini - 6
Improved, but had some great chances to score, particularly when he had a pass run across him to his left foot around twelve yards out in the second half, neglecting to shoot.
Wahbi Khazri - 6
Always trying to create and move the ball quickly, which is something we have been missing without him in the team all season. He'll get a move to another club in the summer, and good for him.
Victor Anichebe - 4
Cut a frustrated and visibly annoyed figure for the most part.
Jermain Defoe - 4
Spurned our best chances in the first half. He'd have scored a couple of those six months ago - looks bereft of confidence.
George Honeyman (Sub) - 6
We kept the ball far better when he replaced Steven Pienaar just after half time and was unlucky to score. Played slightly deeper than he's used to but did well enough. Not sure he'll get a new contract in the summer, but at least he's getting a chance to prove himself with some minutes on the pitch.
