Week #35 Table
This Week's Bonus Prize...
If Sunderland can manage to score a goal this weekend, the banker promises to give all players a free fiver to spend on a goalscorer bet next week.
Gav - @Gav1879
Both of my bets won last week... kerching! Back to the top I go.
As far as our game goes, the sensible money is likely on our opposition. West Ham to score first is 4/5, and I'm placing a fiver on that.
My other bet will be another fourfold. I'm plumping for wins for Everton, Borussia Dortmund, Roma and Nice - a tenner on that returns £53.32.
Rory Fallow - @RoryFallow
Our game against West Ham will be dull and we’ll lose. That makes The Hammers under 2.5 goals at 9/2 pretty tempting and because I’m sick of losing bets lately, I’m chucking a tenner on it. At least if I lose this week, I’ll be glad to.
A treble of both teams to score is my other selection. No winners, just both teams to score in an act of indecisiveness. Everton v Burnley, Southampton v Manchester City and Crystal Palace v Leicester. Burnley getting one at Goodison is perhaps the only risky one there but I’m confident enough in the other games to risk that one. £5 has a potential return of £28.29.
Dan Parker - @DGP202
First up this week is my Sunderland bet. I still can’t back them to win and I probably shouldn’t be backing them to score, but I’m going for big Vic to bag the first goal. I’m not that confident though - so only £2 goes on that unlikely result.
£2 on Anichebe to score first at 9/1 returns £20
I’m going to use the £3 that I got back for my acca last week to put on yet another acca. This week I’m going for Spurs, Arsenal, Luton, Madrid, Roma, Monaco, and Benfica. All bankers I’m sure you’ll agree. Now watch them all lose.
£3 on six team acca returns £23.26
Andy Tomlinson - @SAFCSource
This is probably not a good idea but I'm backing Sunderland to get a result this weekend. West Ham aren't in great form themselves, losing five out of their last six Premier League games and there's been talk this week of Slaven Bilic to be replaced but none of that is why I'm backing us to win, I just think we'll get a surprise good result sooner rather than later that will inspire talk of another 'great escape', only for it to be another false dawn.
Manchester United extended their unbeaten run in the Premier League run to 21 games when they beat us comfortably last week but almost half of those games have been drawn, while Chelsea have been cruising to a seemingly inevitable Premier League title win, so this match seems set up for a draw and 16/5 for both teams to score and the match to be drawn seems like good value.
£10 on Sunderland to win HT/FT returns £47.50
£10 on Man Utd/Chelsea to finish a draw and both teams to score returns £42
Danny Roberts - @DJRoberts22
For once, I won't actually bet on Sunderland losing. I'm gunna put £3 on a draw instead. That will give me back £10.50.
My second bet this week will just be a treble. Seeing as I'm currently just miles away from these two sides, Luton and Stevenage, I'll punt on them to win. I'll finish it off by backing Portsmouth to pick up the three points against Plymouth. £15 sees me get a £48.08 return.
Chris Sparks - @ChrisSavedLatin
This week Im starting off with a 6-fold acca, with Spurs, Arsenal, Newcastle, Man City, Luton and Liverpool on.
Im keeping it simple for my Sunderland bet with me putting blind faith on a Sunderland win.
Six-fold accumulator - £10 returns £155.80
Sunderland to win - £20 returns £62
