Progress & Week #32 Table
Ok, so let me preface this with an apology - Riches was meant to have been published yesterday afternoon, before yesterday night's games, but the sun was out and the beer was cold and as a result our editor went AWOL.
So, you might realise that some of the bets placed have already been played. They'll still stand as they were submitted by our deadline, so you're reading this as though it was written on Thursday.
Danny Roberts had a big win last week which puts him now top of the table, well clear of Gav who drops down to second.
This Week's Bonus Prize...
If Jermain Defoe scores for England against Lithuania, the banker will award each pundit with a free £5 bet on next week's Sunderland game.
Gav - @Gav1879
Nice and simple for me again this week - I'm putting a tenner on there to be over 5.5 goals in the England versus Lithuania game (5/1) and then a double of Sweden and Faroe Islands, which returns £24.80 off £10.

I always thinks it's hard to find value in betting on international games, especially qualifiers, so I'm just taking punts and hoping for the best here. Northern Ireland need to win at home to Norway to stay second, in Group C and I'll take them to do just that, with both teams scoring. Odds are 5/1, so £5 could return £30.
Over in Group B, second place Portugal host Hungary, who sit in third. The European Champions will be expected to win but Hungary haven't conceded too many goals in qualifying and will look to grind out a draw. 9/2 is enough to tempt me to place a fiver on it and I will be praying to Puskas that it comes off.

Another week, another acca. You know the drill. This week's failures are: Hibs, Spain, Italy, England, Sweden, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Austria, and Czech Republic.
Eleven-team accumulator - £6 - Returns £94.63
The Alli first goalscorer odds at Dafabet for England v Lithuania seem generous to me. I've got a feeling that Alli will be out to cement his role in the England team this weekend, and I am betting on him to start the game strong and grab the first goal.
Dele Alli to score first at 16/5, £6 returns £25.20
Andy Tomlinson - @SAFCSource
England play Lithuania on Sunday and with the hosts 1/8 to win, there isn't much value to be had by backing Gareth Southgate's men to win, so I am going to stick to putting money on Jermain Defoe to score. He didn't get on against Germany but I can't believe he would be called up and not used at all, so 3/1 for him to score a couple against weak opposition appeals.
£10 on Jermain Defoe to score two or more returns £40
Elsewhere, Republic of Ireland take on Wales at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin. Even though the visitors probably have the better team, Ireland at home will be tough to beat and I can see the sides cancelling each other out.
£10 on Ireland/Wales to finish 1-1 returns £60

I won a bet again. An actual, worthwhile, money-winning bet. It’s a great time to be alive. Anyway, enough gloating...
My first bet will be taking advantage of a price boost offered by Dafabet, which is Wales to score first in their game against Ireland. The odds have changed from 5/4 to 6/4 and £10 bet will see me return £25.
My second bet will be, as always, an accumulator. Leyton Orient are currently dealing with the threat of a winding-up order, while also being bottom of League Two. Therefore, a Crawley home win against The O's is a good place to start this - especially as the former are threatened with relegation themselves. I'll also punt on wins for Portsmouth, Exeter and Blackpool in League Two.
A £10 stake will see me return £69.42.
Chris Sparks - @ChrisSavedLatin
My first bet this week will be on international footy, urgh. However, to celebrate our very own Jermain Defoe’s return to the ‘grandest stage’, I will place £10 on him scoring anytime. Whilst also backing six teams to win. I’ll bet on wins for the favourites England, Holland, Czech Republic, Spain, Sweden & Portugal.
Defoe to score anytime - £10 returns £17
England, Holland, Czech Republic, Spain, Sweden & Portugal to win - £7 returns £25.57
