Crystal Palace 0-4 Sunderland: Player Ratings & Man of the Match poll - VOTE NOW!

Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow. Here are our player ratings - vote for your man of the match in the poll at the bottom of the article!

Vito Mannone - 8

Looked very comfortable and was made to work for his clean sheet in the second half. Needed a good performance as the return of Jordan Pickford is apparently imminent.

Bryan Oviedo - 8

Superb. Kept Wilfried Zaha quiet throughout the game and got forward when possible. About as good as a debut can go for a left back!

Jason Denayer - 8

His best game for us in quite a while. Made a fantastic last-ditch block on the line to send Jason Puncheon's strike over the bar towards the end of the match.

John O'Shea - 7

Solid, if slightly unspectacular. Withdrew early due to injury but has looked far more comfortable alongside Kone in these last two games - a pleasing performance.

Lamine Kone - 9

Solid as a rock. Benteke usually has a field day against us but Lamine kept him quiet, and his goal to open the scoring in the first half was taken brilliantly. By God, we've missed him.

Billy Jones - 7

Didn't put a foot wrong but was perhaps overshadowed by some of the superb performances of his team mates. He's definitely been better in the last two games.

Jack Rodwell - 7

Looked fairly comfortable in possession but was forced off early through injury. Hopefully it isn't too serious.

Sebastian Larsson - 7

Started horribly and should probably have been sent off for two bookable offences, but in fairness to him he kept his head and put in a good showing for the rest of the game. His free kick led to our first and then he came close with a long-range strike towards the end that would have rounded off proceedings perfectly.

Didier Ndong - 10 (Gav's Man of the Match!)

PERFECT! He was absolutely tremendous. He ran the midfield throughout, won every tackle and 50-50 and scored his first goal for the club with an unbelievable strike from range on his weaker foot. This guy just keeps getting better and better.

Adnan Januzaj - 8

Cannot fault him today. Two assists and much improved showing in a game where there was perhaps less pressure on us as the game wore on. Was unlucky not to have scored when his strike from distance whistled wide in the second half.

Jermain Defoe - 8

Clinical. Two chances, two fantastic goals. He really is top class.

Darron Gibson - 7 (sub)

The pace of the game seemed to suit him when he came on. He looks very neat and tidy in possession and isn't scared to pass forwards, which will come in handy over the course of this season.

Joleon Lescott - 6 (sub)

Didn't really put a foot wrong.

Steven Pienaar - 6 (Sub)

He didn't really have enough time to make any sort of an impact.
