Last week was a bit of a disaster for our pundits, all of whom backed Sunderland to beat Reading at the Stadium of Light. As a result only one person emerged with any profit, and with his hard-earned £1.50 in his coin purse it is Walshie that runs out as our esteemed pundit of the week.
Gav still reigns supreme at the top of the table still and he’s going to take some catching. With a balance of over £300 separating him from the rest, it’s going to be interesting to see if any of the other pundits take a gamble and go all in as they bid to keep up with this season’s Roker Riches pace-setter.
The Banker’s Bonus...
If Sunderland come away from Molineux without suffering a defeat, the banker will give each player a free £10 bet on next week’s Premier League fixture between Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.

Wolves to win & under 2.5 goals, 9/4: I don’t think that we stand a hope in hell’s chance of coming away from the Molineux with anything other than a defeat but, despite the fact I said on this week’s Podcast that I thought we’d end up losing by 4 or 5, I reckon we might be a little bit tighter than that. £20 returns £65.
Fivefold: Leicester, Shrewsbury, Cambridge, Inverness and Gateshead. Boom. £10 returns £764.
Rory - @RoryFallow
Lewis Grabban to score any time: I don’t want to bet against us but I’m also not feeling silly enough to back a positive result. Grabban scoring any time gives me some leeway, while also being likely. £5 returns £19.
West Brom & Arsenal to win: 2/1 is pretty decent odds for The Baggies to win away to bottom of the table Swansea and Arsenal are pretty tempting at Evens as they travel to Southampton. £5 returns £30.
Connor Bromley - @connorbromley
Over 3.5 goals to be scored in our game: I am always hesitant to bet against Sunderland... so I bent the rules by betting that there will be over 3.5 goals... cos we are gonna get smashed... like, hammered. £3 returns £8.40.
Leicester and Hibernian double: Leicester play the mags on Saturday night - and I fancy them because Newcastle are shit. Neil Lennon gets to face Celtic at Easter Road on Sunday and I really fancy them too. Earlier this season I had Hibs to win at Celtic Park and they got a 2-2 draw - and Celtic have to lose eventually. £4 returns £74.75.
Graham - @AsylumDoors
Wolves to win and over 2.5 goals - I’ve only won money on Sunderland when I’ve put us on to lose. Surprising eh? We’ll come nowhere close to top of the table Wolves. £5 returns £10.
Bayern Munich and Dortmund to win - Yet again, one b*stard team done me out of a decent win. I give up. These two have never let me down, though. I’m sticking loads on it in the hope it’ll pull me back into contention, what have I got to lose? £100 returns £216.66.
Danny - @DJRoberts22
Sunderland to lose - £5 returns £6.82. Because obviously...
Wigan, Luton, Cheltenham and Aston Villa all to win - £5 returns £43.31. I have to get one of these punts soon, surely? What has happened to my betting skills?!
Tom - @Tommyakki
Wolves to win by 3 or more goals, 3.52/1: Sorry guys, I just don’t feel great about what might happen to us in Wolverhampton tomorrow. £5 returns £22.60.
United v City - Over 1.5 goals per half, 4.93/1: This should be a cracker. £5 returns £29.65.
Dan Parker - @DGP202
Sunderland to win and both teams to score - I haven’t bet on Sunderland to win for months. But 14/1 for Sunderland to win and BTTS is tempting. So tempting I’ve put a massive £1 on it. Boom. £1 returns £15.
Seven team acca - Right. This one is going to happen. I can feel it. Chelsea, Madrid, Leipzig, Galatasaray, Monaco, PSG, and Wigan. Come on lads, don’t let me down. £9 returns £88.45.
Walshie - @Walshie409
Sunderland to win - We’re 17/2 to win a Championship game, that’s definitely worth a punt. £3 returns £28.50.
Sixfold - Burnley, Luton, Rangers, Crystal Palace, Wigan and Aston Villa all to win. £1 returns £35.76.
