Roker Riches: The Lads fancy a first home win for Sunderland in almost a year - do you?

Some canny returns last week, so ha’way man take our advice. You’d be mental not to!

That win and a clean sheet certainly made things interesting!

As per the bankers bonus, none of our gamblers lost money on their Sunderland bets and any winning bets saw stakes awarded as profit. This meant there were no big losers last week, with Gav losing a tenner being the biggest loss of the round. Look at how far ahead he is though - he can spare it.

My punt on The Lads winning and keeping a clean sheet allowed me a modest profit, while Walshie’s call of us winning by two goals or more led him to being last week’s biggest winner. Graham & Connor also registered wins, while Tom stayed neutral by neither winning or losing any money.

Bad news for Danny though, he parted with a fiver and that saw him slip just into the red. He’ll need some decent wins this week to make sure things don’t get even worse.

The Banker’s Bonus...

If Chris Coleman marks his first game at the Stadium of Light with a win, the banker will give each player a free £10 bet on next week’s Merseyside derby.

Our Picks...

Gav - @Gav1879

Sunderland to win, 5/4: I’m like Scrooge McDuck. I’ve got so much dolla’ that I can afford to lose thirty quid, so f*ck it. £30 returns £67.50.

Sixfold: Sam Allardyce is back and Everton looked much better after winning against West Ham, whilst I’ve also plumped for Bradford, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, RB Leipzig and Nice. £5 returns £92.58.

Rory - @RoryFallow

Sunderland to win BTTS: I correctly called us winning to nil last week but I think Reading will be a tougher prospect, especially coming off the back of a good result in midweek. I still fancy the lads to see it through though. £5 returns £25.

Mo Salah to score two or more: Look at the form he’s in, just look at it. The odds are unsurprisingly low but I’m so confident he’ll breeze through Brighton, I’m still backing it. £5 returns £26.25.

Connor Bromley - @connorbromley

Sunderland to win: Backing the boys again this weekend. Colemania is running wild - Reading aren't exactly Andre The Giant. Home win. £15 returns £33.75.

Brighton to beat Liverpool: Liverpool always seem to struggle in these games and I really like the way Chris Hughton sets his teams up. At 6/1 Brighton seem to be looked at as no-hopers but at home I reckon they can take Liverpool. £5 returns £35.

Graham - @AsylumDoors

Sunderland & over 1.5 goals: I haven’t put us on to win for a long, long time. It’s the Coleman factor though and I’m confident of a 2-0 win. £5 returns £14.00.

Fivefold: Another little fivefold to keep my good form up. Big Sam is back, David Moyes is Satan, Hertha are my German team, Mags stink and putting on Munich is like Bayern money (get it?) so I’m taking Everton, Man. City, Hertha, Chelsea and Bayern Munich at £5 returning £37.68.

Danny - @DJRoberts22

Lewis Grabban to score first: Dafabet have this as a price boost and I’ll be silly not to put a punt on here. £5.00 returns £30.

Derby, Sporting Lisbon and Schalke all to win: I will a treble one day. I will! £10 returns £24.66.

Tom - @Tommyakki

Sunderland to score 2 or more in the 1st half: I’ve got a feeling in me watta - haway! £5 returns £35.

City, Chelsea, Everton & Sunderland to win: Think the Prem games could be fairly straightforward, so here’s hoping the Lads bring home the bacon! £5 returns £30.

Dan Parker - @DGP202

Grabban to score first: Price boost! And it’s going to be the opening goal that leads us on our way to breaking our home duck. £5.00 returns £30.

Seven team acca: Derby, City, Chelsea, Barca, Roma, Bayern & Celtic to win is clearly a banker - no doubt about it! £17 returns £84.89.

Walshie - @Walshie409

Lewis Grabban to score at anytime: Big Grabbz is going to bag a goal as we mercilessly batter these regal jobbers. £3 returns £7.50.

Sixfold: Everton, MK Dons, Fleetwood Town, Celtic, Monaco and Bayern Munich are going to smash whoever they’re playing. This won’t win. £3 returns £16.67.
