Hello there - we’ve been missing for a few weeks. Y’alright?
The only congratulations following the last round of betting picks go to Connor. I am hesitant to congratulate someone who bets against his own team, but since he also bet against the mags, I’ll let him off. Wins for Boro and Bournemouth also meant that Connor pulled himself out of debt and he now sits on a nose bleed-inducing £11.50.
Fair play to Danny as well, who had the foresight to use his head and not back Sunderland. That being said, his other bet not coming in still gave him a loss as his poor run of luck continues.
It could be worse though, you could be Graham, who is £75 in the red.
Here’s what the lads are backing this weekend.
The Table...

The Bankers Bonus...
Usually the banker likes to reward our gamblers with a positive Sunderland outcome. On this occasion, however, he’s pledging to give every player a free £5 accumulator on next week’s Championship games if Sunderland’s miserable home record continues and they fail to beat Millwall.
Our Picks...
Gav - @Gav1879
Lewis Grabban to score the first goal - 17/4: We might be shit but Grabban knows where the net is. Here’s hoping we actually play the ball to his feet - who knows, we might even score! £5 returns £26.25.
Burnley, Liverpool, Shrewsbury & Luton: C’mon! I am crying out for a decent win this week and this seems like a decent punt. £10 returns £164.26.
Rory - @RoryFallow
Sunderland to be winning at half time and at full time: It’s happening lads, here’s where the win comes and where Robbie Stockdale gets coronated. £5 returns £20.
Burnley & Everton to win: I’m confident of 7th placed Burnley seeing off Swansea, and Everton will hopefully carry the spirit that saw them dramatically defeat Watford, to Selhurst Park. £5 returns £33.32.
Connor Bromley - @connorbromley
Paddy McNair first goal: I am really enjoying the return of Paddy, he seems to look competent at this level and his goal against Bolton was lovely. So this weekend I fancy him for the first goal - it is a good price for a midfielder with obvious quality at this level. £2 returns £19.
Crystal Palace, Burnley and Manchester United to win: Last week I won big by betting against the Mags, so this weekend I am following that trend but putting some interesting bets with it. I always fancy Burnley at home, particularly against a struggling Swansea. Everton are the pits at the minute despite beating Watford last time out, and I fancy Hodgson to get Palace out of trouble. £3 returns £20.12.
Graham - @AsylumDoors
Sunderland/Millwall over 1.5 goals: I can’t back us to win, although I think we’ll get grab a couple of goals - it just depends if we can keep them out. £3 returns £4.
Burnley, City, United and Bayern all to win: Burnley are solid at home, City are irresistable right now, United will beat the Mags and Bayern are efficient if nothing else. £5 returns £21.99.
Danny - @DJRoberts22
Sunderland to win: Surely we have to sooner or later? £5 returns £11.25.
Wigan, Colchester & Luton to win: All three are at home and they’re all favourites, what could possibly go wrong? £5 returns £25.
Tom - @Tommyakki
Sunderland to draw: Expecting both teams to struggle this weekend and can definitely see this being a turgid, uninspiring game. £5 returns £17.
Premier League Acca: Bournemouth, Burnley, Man City & Liverpool to win. There’s normally one that lets me down, but I have a sneaking suspicion that this will come in canny. £5 returns £45.
Dan Parker - @DGP202
Lewis Grabban to score first: Same as I said last time basically. We are rubbish but at least we score plenty. And one scores more than most - so I’m backing him to bag the first goal. £4 at 17/4 returns £21.
Ten team acca: These are getting more stupid every single week. But that won’t stop me throwing my money away, oh no. Salford, Wigan, Barcelona, Mansfield, Man Utd, Dundee United, Feyenoord, PSG, Watford, and Bayern Munich. £9 returns £416.34.
Walshie - @Walshie409
Sunderland and Millwall to draw - I want that record, give me that record. £4 returns £13.60.
Newcastle to beat Manchester United - Because, yer know, lol. £1 returns £12.
