Will Lewis Grabban score the first goal today? Will Sunderland win? Our pundits think so!

Of course Aiden McGeady wasn’t going to score after almost all of our gamblers backed him. We only registered one winner last week but we’re back and hoping for better luck, in the latest Roker Riches.

It was a pretty poor week all round for our gamblers, with only Graham registering a win after he predicted a draw between us and Brentford, with both teams finding the net. Walshie thought he was being clever by copying my bets but his loss leaves him just 62p above the red line.

Here’s what we’re recommending this week.

The Table...

The Banker’s Bonus...

If Sunderland manage to finally win a home game, the banker will give every player a free five-team acca on next week’s Premier League fixtures. The banker will sweeten the deal by giving every player a tenner to play with.

Our Picks...

Gav - @Gav1879

Sunderland to win 1-0 - 10/1: Clean sheet.... AND a win. I’m feeling stupidly optimistic ahead of this weekend and I have absolutely no idea why. £6 returns £66.

Fivefold: Chelsea, Cardiff, Lincoln, Rotherham, Ayr. Come at me, bro. £5 returns £58.30.

Rory - @RoryFallow

Duncan Watmore to score any time: In the last couple of games he has looked on fire and your defence has indeed been terrified. £5 returns £18.

Watford & Burnley to win: Watford are pretty good and Burnley are canny odds for a home side, even though the mags will be (annoyingly) tough to break down. £5 returns £31.50.

Connor Bromley - @connorbromley

Sunderland to win and both teams to score: This weekend is it. Our time for a home win has arrived. It will be ropey and I am sure Bristol City will score, but the hoodoo will be over come 5pm on tonight. £5 returns £27.50.

Spurs to beat Man Utd: Man Utd come into this weekend off the back of a poor defeat away at Huddersfield, Spurs hammered Liverpool last weekend. United head into this one though as 5/4 favourites while Spurs are priced at 12/5 - odd since Spurs are the league’s best travellers. £5 returns £17.

Graham - @AsylumDoors

Lewis Grabban to score first: I’m not sure I believe it, but this is the week it has to happen - a win, no excuses. I am banking on Lewis to grab us the first goal on the way to a win. £3 returns £24 at odds of 7/1.

Liverpool, Man. City and Bayern Munich to win + Hertha & Hamburg over 1.5 goals + Celtic & over 2.5 goals: Another safe-ish accumulator with a little risk. This one better bloody win mind! Time to start eating further into my losses. £7 wins me £27.22.

Danny - @DJRoberts22

Lewis Grabban to score first - £3 returns £24.00: I’ll be taking full advantage of Dafabet’s price boost here, hoping our frontman can carry on his scoring form in to the weekend.

Treble: Rotherham, Fulham and Charlton all to win. £10 returns £46.

Tom - @Tommyakki

Sunderland to win and James Vaughan to score first: Crazier things have happened. £5 returns £68.60.

Spurs, Liverpool, Watford, Man City & Chelsea to win: Not too outlandish and the winnings are pretty good. £5 returns £88.11.

Dan Parker - @DGP202

Aiden McGeady to score anytime: I’m going for this one again as despite our clusterfuck/shambles of a defence, at least we have decent forwards. £5 returns £30.

Celtic, Fulham, Arsenal, Watford, Benfica, Roma, Napoli, Bayer Leverkusen, PSG, Lyon, Club Brugge, Leicester to win: This week’s acca is ambitious, sure. But that won’t stop me slapping a fiver on it. Bring It on. £5 returns £244.51.

Walshie - @Walshie409

Lewis Grabban to score anytime: I can’t actually remember if I’ve won any bets in this thing. Luckily, I don’t bet with actual money. Anyway, Big Grabbz is gunna score. £5 returns £15.

Burnley and Newcastle to draw 0-0: It’s on Monday night and it’s gunna be well boring. £3 returns £25.50.
