Roker Riches: Week #10 - In-form Aiden McGeady to score AGAIN today?

After some decent winners for the writers last week, you should definitely be listening to our tips. Well, to some of our tips - some of us you should definitely ignore.

Come on! Two winners for me last week! I would like to take this opportunity to thank Aiden McGeady for finding the net again, and to Tom Cleverly for that sweet last minute winner for Watford. That puts me in touching distance of £150 on my balance, let’s hope my hot streak continues.

I wasn’t the only one to win twice though, Dan Parker had an acca come in and also correctly predicted that both teams would score between Sunderland and QPR. Dan is now breathing down Gav’s neck and could potentially move into first place this week.

Bayern Munich racking up the goals allowed Walshie to make a very slight profit of 80p, while Graham is edging ever closer to being £100 in debt. Lovely stuff.

The Table...

The Bankers Bonus...

If Sunderland manage to claim their first clean sheet of the season, the banker will give every player a free £5 accumulator on next weekend’s Championship fixtures.

Our Picks...

Gav - @Gav1879

Aiden McGeady to score any time - 6/1: The boy’s in form. £10 returns £70.

Villa, Wimbledon, Coventry & Celtic: This is pure guesswork. £5 returns £49.40.

Rory - @RoryFallow

Aiden McGeady to score any time - 6/1: For the third week running, I’m going for McGeady to find the net. I’m just rolling with this one until he ends his scoring streak. £10 returns £70.

West Ham v Brighton, Newcastle United v Crystal Palace & Southampton v West Brom - All games to have under 2.5 goals: None of these sides are exactly free scoring so even though this is a bit of a convoluted treble, I’m still confident of it. £5 returns £21.39.

Connor Bromley - @connorbromley

Aiden Mcgeady to score anytime - 6/1: Dafabet have lured me in with a price boost that outrageously offers 6/1 odds. So I am going for it. £20 pounds. Go hard or go home. £20 returns £140.

Palace to beat the Mags: Palace beat Chelsea last week, and they could double up this weekend with a canny win over those up the road. The Mags have looked decent this season but I think they may run into trouble against Roy Hodgson’s boys. £2 returns £8.

Graham - @AsylumDoors

Sunderland & Brentford BTTS & draw: The Londoners have only won one game at home all season, and whilst I’d like to see us win - I don’t think we will. £3 returns £13.

Man. City, Bayern, Cambridge, Stevenage, Real Madrid, Lazio and Milan to win + Barnsley/Hull BTTS + Liverpool/Spurs BTTS: Outlandish but safe-ish accumulators are the only thing that are gonna save me. £3 returns £64.93.

Danny - @DJRoberts22

Sunderland to lose: It’s the only real way to bet, isnt it? £5 returns £9.25.

Stevenage, St Truiden and Twente all to win: My second bet is a treble, punting on wins for Stevenage, St Truiden and FC Twente. £10 reurns £69.

Tom - @Tommyakki

Sunderland to win & BTTS: This week I admitted in an article that all I’ve got left is blind hope, so here we go! Let the good times roll! £5 returns £35.

Chelsea, Man Utd & Man City to win: Decent odds for these three to all win. £5 returns £15.

Dan Parker - @DGP202

Aiden McGeady to score anytime - 6/1: Yet again we’ve put ourselves in a position where we are reliant on one player to find the onion bag. I may as well back that player to score anytime this weekend. £5 returns £35.

Wolves, Man Utd, Man City, Barcelona, Sporting, Madrid, Porto, PSV, Lazio, Monaco to win: I’m going for another acca as I’ve won 2 out of the last 3. Let’s keep that run going eh lads? £7 on these ten teams returns a healthy £79.52.

Walshie - @Walshie409

Aiden McGeady to score anytime: Since Rory’s so bloody good at betting I’m going to copy his bets. £5 returns £18.75.

West Ham v Brighton, Newcastle United v Crystal Palace & Southampton v West Brom - All games to have under 2.5 goals: I’m not joking. £5 returns £21.39.
