Roker Riches: Week #9 - Has a brighter performance last time out tempted us to back SAFC?

We’re back after the international break!

Dafabet.com

Three of us won money on the Sunderland game and it wasn’t through outright negativity either! I got a few quid off the back of Aiden McGeady finding the net, Graham was right to say that both teams would score and Connor correctly predicted that Jordan Hugill would grab a goal. Although it’s worth noting that Graham still lost £50 despite winning one bet, plunging him well into the red. He’s really not having a good time of it.

Elsewhere, Gav & Danny made a tidy profits from accumulators, while Tom was only let down by Middlesbrough on a five fold. So a pretty decent all round week if any of you heeded our advice!

Will we be able to keep this form up this week? Here’s what the gamblers are going for in week #9.

The Table...

The Bankers Bonus...

If Sunderland finally win a home game this weekend, the banker will give every player a free £10 correct score bet on next week’s game between Spurs & Liverpool.

Our Picks...

Gav - @Gav1879

Sunderland to win 1-0 - 8/1: You read that right - we’re going to win AND keep a clean sheet. And I’ll be rolling in it. MONEY. £5 returns £45.

Fourfold: I’m going for four favourites in my bid to keep my acca success going - wins for Chelsea, Cardiff, Peterborough and Notts County. £5 returns £46.02.

Rory - @RoryFallow

Aiden McGeady to score any time: That’s right, I’m going for the same bet two weeks running. McGeady looks great at the moment, so why not back him again? £5 returns £26.25.

Watford to beat Arsenal - 4/1: for The Hornets to beat the always ready to capitulate Arsenal is a fantastic price, especially at home. Both teams are in similar form, so I feel pretty confident about this one. £5 returns £25.

Connor Bromley - @connorbromley

Sunderland to win to nil: I really fancy us this weekend; mind I always do. But ha way, we have to keep a clean sheet, we have to win a home game so why not do them both this weekend? £5 returns £18.

Spurs, Man City and Swansea to win: A three team treble that I think has pound signs written all over it. The only doubt is Swansea, but I fancy them to turnover a Huddersfield side that is flagging badly after a decent start. £3 returns £9.22.

Graham - @AsylumDoors

Sunderland & QPR Over 1.5 goals: Again, I think we’ll score a goal, we look dangerous with McGeady. However I feel like we’ll win comfortably 2-0, or stutter to a boring 1-1 draw. I can’t decide. £3 returns £8.40.

Chelsea, Man. City and Leeds to win with Fulham/Preston BTTS: Not my usual outlandish bet, but I need to claw back what I can. £5 returns £23.88.

Danny - @DJRoberts22

Sunderland to win - 6/5: I'm probably stupid betting on our first win of 2017, but surely it has to come at some point? £5 returns £11.

Wigan, Charleroi, Ajax and Bristol City all to win: I've played it safe with my acca this week, picking home favourites in a bid to slowly rack up my money. £10 returns 38.16.

Tom - @Tommyakki

Sunderland to win - 6/5: I'm hoping that after a couple of weeks working on things that the Lads are back heading in the right direction, and I'm quietly confident of a decent win. £5 returns £11.

City, Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal - fourfold: There's always one that knocks me out, but these look a canny set of bets - hopefully we're on. £5 returns £15.87.

Dan Parker - @DGP202

Sunderland v QPR BTTS - 7/10: I’m going BTTS again for the Sunderland game. I want to be positive about our chances. I really do. I just can’t. £5 returns £8.50.

PSG, City, Spurs, Bayern, Madrid, Celtic, Ajax - sevenfold: I’m going for a boring acca but just watch it fail to come in. Won’t stop me putting £15 on it though, oh no... £15 returns £64.90.

Walshie - @Walshie409

Sunderland to win - 6/5: We’re going to win, suck it up haters. £5 returns £11.

Bayern Munich to win by 4 or more goals - 17/10: Jupp Heynckes is back and Bayern Munich are due to give someone an absolute pasting. Have fun Freiburg. £5 returns £10.80.
