Writer's Picks For Gameweek #22
@ChrisSavedLatin
I'm going to keep this short and sweet - and it's a pair of North East cup wins that I'm backing this weekend.
Newcastle to beat Birmingham: £10 - 10/11
Sunderland to beat Burnley: £10 - 6/4
@RoryFallow
It's hard to back a player in our FA Cup tie against Burnley, given that David Moyes could make plenty of changes. That in itself makes it a hard one to call so I'm playing it fairly safe by going for a half time/full time bet. I think it will be a dull game, that leads to replay and possibly even finish 0-0 so I'm having £7 on it being a draw at half time and full time, at 15/4. I'm sick of losing lately so let's see if this one comes off and brings me £33.25.
I'm going abroad for my other selection - a four fold from Serie A. I really need to get back to winning ways so I'm sticking a tenner on four favourites. A.C Milan should win at home to Cagliari, while their neighbours Inter face a slightly tougher test away to Udinese but it's still a game I Nerazzurri are capable of winning. I'll back the top two as well, Juventus & Roma, who face Bologna & Genoa respectively. If this comes off I'll gain £61.59.
Sunderland v Burnley draw @ HT/FT: £7 - 15/4
Serie A Fourfold: £10 returns £61.59

I’ve gone for Sunderland to win this weekend because I just can’t help myself. I think we will get revenge over Burnley as both teams will most likely play their youngsters. I’m predicting a barn-storming match with Sunderland to edge it.
I’ve gone for a five team acca this week, based on the fact that I was an idiot for trying a fifteen team acca last week. I’ve gone for Plymouth to beat Liverpool, Manchester United to beat Reading, Newcastle to beat Birmingham, plus Chelsea and Bilbao winning.
Sunderland to win + BTTS: £4 - 17/4
Five-team accumulator: £4 returns £330.43

Although I am sure the players will want revenge for the pasting we got at Turf Moor last week, I'm not sure what kind of team we're going to put out. Due to all of our injury problems, we may have to rest a few players and give one or two youngsters a run out just to make sure we don't have to do the same against Stoke next week. With that being said, our home form has picked up a lot since the 4-1 defeat by Arsenal and Burnley's form away from home is terrible - picking up just one point from a possible 27 in the league, conceding 20 in those 9 games and only scoring 3. They even lost 1-0 at Accrington in the League Cup. So I'm going for our makeshift team to win an open game, with both teams getting on the score-sheet.
Crystal Palace should win this one comfortably but I'm not sure how seriously Sam Allardyce will be taking the FA Cup with their position in the Premier League being Big Sam's priority, particularly after the home defeat to Swansea. Meanwhile Bolton are flying in League One are in good form and there will surely be a shock somewhere in Round Three, so I'm going to go with it being in this game.
Sunderland to win and both teams to score: 17/4 - £10
Bolton to win: 5/2 - £10
@Gav1879
Sunderland to win and both teams to score has been priceboosted to 17/4, and I fancy taking a proper gamble this week so I'm backing that.
Elsewhere I'm going for a treble - Arsenal to beat Preston, West Brom to beat Derby and Sheffield United to beat Southend. That gives me £49.64 off a tenner!
Sunderland to win + BTTS: 17/4 - £20
Arsenal, West Brom + Sheffield Utd to win: £10 returns £49.64
