The Dafabet Roker Riches: Week #21 - Andy Plunges To New Depths

"I keep getting f***ed over!", he cries.

As the season begins to peter out, our luck in the world of betting is getting more and more pathetic.

Rory might have lost fifteen quid but nobody made up any ground on him, with Andy now over one hundred pounds in the red - remember, we all started the season with forty quid.

Just like the Champions League final of 2014, I'm predicting Real Madrid vs. Atletico Madrid to go into extra time. It was victory for Real that night, but this time I fancy Atleti to overcome them on penalties, just like they did against PSV in the round of 16. It's 9/1 for Diego Simone's side to win via a penalty shoot out, £10 on that for me.

Earlier that day, we'll all have a keen eye on Hull City vs. Sheffield Wednesday in the Championship Play Off Final as we find out which side we'll face in the Premier League next season. It's always a close game to call so i'll have £5 on former Black Cat, Ross Wallace to score anytime. It's 9/2 so that gives me a potential return of £27.50.

Picks:

Atletico Madrid to win the Champions League final on penalties: 9/1 - £10

Ross Wallace to score at anytime in the Play-off Final: 9/2 - £5

With this being England's penultimate warm-up game before the Euros, we should see an improved performance from the win over Turkey but as it's England vs Australia, it's likely to be a hard fought contest. Saying that, it's just the sort of game Wayne Rooney excels in and with Jamie Vardy, Harry Kane and Daniel Sturridge likely to be missing - for a variety of reasons - I can see him adding another couple to his England record.

Belgium may be one of the favourites to win the Euros but they come up against a Switzerland side who are not always hard to beat but can be extremely difficult to break down. Something they shown in qualifying when they only conceded eight goals, half of which were to England. Taking that into account and the fact you can get 7/1 for a nil-nil, putting a fiver on a goalless draw seems like the way to go.

Picks:

Wayne Rooney to score two or more: 17/4 - £4

Switzerland/Belgium to finish 0-0: 7/1 - £5

I need shooting for my NYC pick last week. Less said about it the better.

I'm going to take one of the Dafabet Price boosts for the England game. Sturridge to score two or more has been cut to 4/1 from 16/5 so I'll throw a daft fiver on that.

Four fold next and i'm hitting the goals market. I've reckon England, Czech Republic and Slovakia will all win with more than 2.5 goals in their games. Chuck in a +1.5 goals in the Championship Play off final and you've got a nice little four fold.

Picks:

Daniel Sturridge to score two or more goals (Dafabet price boost) @ 4/1 - £5 Stake returns £25

England to win +2.5 goals, Czech Republic to win +2.5 goals, Slovakia to win +2.5 goals & 1.5 goals in the Championship playoff final @ 11.66/1 - £15 stake returns £189.87

@GRokerReport

England didn't look too convincing defensively against Turkey. That said, we do have goals in us, and with Dafabet pricing an England win and over 2.5 goals at Evens, I'm all over that.

In the Championship Playoff Final, Dafabet have a Sheffield Wednesday win & over 2.5 goals priced at 7/1, so I'll place £5 on that. They looked inspired in the playoffs and, though Hull have been to Wembley a few times in recent years, I fancy the sleeping giants to come through and regain their place as a Premier League club.

Picks:

England to win & over 2.5 goals in the game: £10 - Evens

Sheffield Wednesday to win and over 2.5 goals in the game: 7/1 - £5

With such important and tight games on this weekend, trying to pick out a few tips is a bit of a struggle. Looking at the Championship play-off final, I wanted to place a bet on Abel Hernandez to grab a goal at anytime, but the tempting price boost on Dafabet, which gives me odds of 11/2 for the striker to score the first goal is too tempting. A fiver bet will see me net £32.50, and I’ll be crazy to pass that up. Another offer on this game I have to bet on is Hull to win 2-0 at 10/1. Another £5 bet on that will see me win £55.

I’m going to be cheeky too and try guarantee a definite profit, however little it is, on the Champions League final. I’m going to stick £15 on Atletico to win at 11/5, earning me £48, and Real to win at 7/5, with £20 returning me £48. So, as long as it doesn’t go to extra time (it did the last time, so this is risky), I’ll have a £13 profit.

Picks:

Abel Hernandez to score the first goal in the play of final: £5 at 11/2

Hull to win the play of final 2-0: £5 at 10/1

Atletico Madrid to win the Champions League: £15 at 11/5

Real Madrid to win the Champions League: £20 at 7/5
