The Dafabet Roker Riches: Week #19 - Rory Steams Ahead

With us heading towards the tail end of the season, can anyone catch up to Rory?

Stu Forster/Getty Images

Rory Fallow further strengthened his lead this week as he was the only winner in round 18, with his punt on there to be over 2.5 goals in the Sunderland v Chelsea game and Sunderland to win coming to fruition.

The rest of us are struggling badly, and if anyone is going to topple Rory there are going to have to be a string of big wins for the rest of us.

Andy is well into his overdraft and the sooner he clinches a big win, the better.

With Wahbi Khazri again providing us joy from set pieces against Everton, I fancy our run of centre half scorers to continue. Lamine Kone of course scored a brace on Wednesday night but I think it'll be his partner in crime who get's on the score sheet against Watford. Younes Kaboul to score anytime is 9/1 and if he gets up for those headers, or continues his marauding runs, then I'll be laughing.

I fancy Arsenal to absolutely wallop Aston Villa when they host them on the final day. The woe of Aston Villa is reflected by the fact that an Arsenal 5-0 win is only 12/1. I'll have a daft fiver on it and hope that the already awful Villa are even further on the beach.

Picks:

Younes Kaboul to score anytime: 9/1 - £10

Arsenal to beat Aston Villa 5-0: 12/1 - £5

DAFABET Price Boost: Jermain Defoe to score two or more NOW 8/1 (was 13/2)

@SAFCSource

Thankfully this game is a dead rubber now we are safe after beating Chelsea and Everton, because of which it is difficult to predict the line-up - never-mind the result - after the exertions of the last week. The team that was selected seven games in a row is bound to be changed to give fringe players a run out and, with Watford possibly doing the same, it should be an open game. Honestly though, I need a hail mary if I am to rise up the Roker Riches standings, so I am going to go for us to come out on top in a meaningless but exciting end to end game.

Arsenal need to win and hope Newcastle beat Tottenham if they are to finish above their local rivals, with Arsenal playing Aston Villa they will hold up their end of the bargain but relying on Newcastle to win will never end well. Saying that, Arsenal should win and win comfortably. As said before, I am aiming for hail marys so I can avoid being the Aston Villa of the Roker Riches league. I'm not daft enough to bet on Aston Villa winning at Arsenal so I can only go for a very heavy Arsenal win.

Picks:

Sunderland to win 4-2: 80/1 - £10

Arsenal to win 7-0: 50/1 - £10

DAFABET PRICE BOOST: Sunderland to win and Over 2.5 goals NOW 15/4 (was 14/5)

@Funkyphallus

Big Sam has indicated some youngsters will be playing a part in our last game of the season. This could mean Beadling starts along side one of the experienced senior central defenders with Pickford in goal. I think they're both talented lads ready to feature. I'm going to put my faith in our youth and go for a clean sheet.

There is something still left to play for in the Premier League as both the Manchester clubs look to claim that last Champions League spot - It's a case of the Tortoise and the Hare for me. Manchester City have been up in and about the Champions League places all season, while Manchester United have trundling on slow and steady. That said, Manchester City look to be stalling and I think Swansea can beat them. I also think Manchester United will take all the points against Bournemouth to snatch qualification from their local rivals.

Picks:

Sunderland to keep a clean sheet @ 7/2 - £5 stake returns £22.50

Swansea and Man U to win @ 7.18/1 - £5 stake returns  £40.91

DAFABET PRICE BOOST: Fabio Borini to score the first goal NOW 9/1 (was 7/1)

@GRokerReport

I really fancy us to win at the weekend, even with Sam set to ring the changes for the final game of the season. Our players must be on top of the world right now and with yet another sell-out away crowd backing them, they need to see out the season in a professional manner. With that in mind, I quite fancy the 4/1 that Dafabet are price boosting for Sunderland half-time/full-time.

Elsewhere, it's pretty tough to try and pick something, with most sides playing for nothing. I'm going for a Spurs and Manchester United double - £20 on that returns £50.40. Gamble.

Picks:

Sunderland half-time/full-time: £5 - 4/1

Spurs & Manchester United double: £20 - £50.40 returns

DAFABET PRICE BOOST: Sunderland Half time-Full time NOW 4/1 (was 16/5)

@DJRoberts22

My great form has gone and that hurts. This week will be harder to pick some bets as you never know what players will start where and if they’re on holiday or not. The Sunderland bet is a struggle, so I’m just going to stick a fiver on Troy Deeney to score and then Defoe to score anytime too. The Watford man is 11/10 and Jermain is 8/5.

My non-Sunderland bet will have to come from the Premier League as there is no way I’m betting on the lottery that is the play-offs. Therefore, wins for Arsenal, Man United, Southampton and Tottenham draw no bet.

Picks:

Jermain Defoe to score anytime: £5 at 8/5

Troy Deeney to score anytime: £5 at 11/10

Arsenal, Man United and Southampton to win, Tottenham draw no bet: £10 at 1.84
