Vito Mannone– 6
He didn’t have a shot to save apart from an over hit free kick. It looked like there was a lack of communication on occasions with the centre backs in the first half.
Patrick Van Aanholt – 7
Bombed forward all afternoon and did his best to create opportunities down the wing.
DeAndre Yedlin– 7
Much the same as Van Aanholt, West Brom didn’t show much in attack so the full backs got forward relentlessly. He set up Borini for a golden chance late on.
Younes Kaboul– 7
Both centre backs had very little to do, but when they were called into action they dealt with everything.
Lamine Kone – 7
Solid performace again, although there was some communication problems with Mannone in the first half.
Jan Kirchhoff – 8
Another great display from Kirchhoff. He had a shot saved by Foster’s face in the second half and he generally probed at the West Brom defence trying to create chances. He had to track back to potentially save a West Brom goal after Rondon broke the offside trap.
Lee Cattermole – 7
He had a great chance in the first half but his touch let him down. He played some nice attacking balls into dangerous areas and overall it was a typical hard working performance from Cattermole.
Yann M’Vila – 6
Kept play ticking over without playing any real attacking through balls
Wahbi Khazri – 7
He tried his best to break through the West Brom defence, he was surprisingly substituted in the second half as he looked lively.
Fabio Borini– 8
Worked his socks off all game but found Foster too good on the day.
Jermain Defoe– 7
Had countless chances but Foster saved everything. He wasted a golden chance in the last minute when he was clean through where he should have scored.
Dame N’Doye– 5 (sub)
Thought he’d scored the winner with the last kick off the game but he strayed offside.
