After Jan Kirchhoff completing his move from Bayern Munich yesterday, it is widely expected that Sam Allardyce will target a striker and a right back as he looks to strengthen his squad. That striker appears to be Trabzonspor striker Dame N'Doye.
According to reports in Turkey, former Hull City striker N'Doye is set to join Sunderland on loan until the end of the season after an unsuccessful spell with the Super Lig side.
N'Doye joined Trabzonspor in the summer after Hull were relegated from the Premier League but has failed to make an impact in Turkey, with just one cup goal to his name so far this season. The 30-year old had better luck at Hull, scoring 5 goals in 15 games for Steve Bruce's side, including a goal against Sunderland at the KC Stadium.
Should N'Doye's move be confirmed, he will compete with Jermain Defoe and Steven Fletcher as Sunderland's main striker, with Danny Graham expected to depart before the end of the transfer window.
