Sunderland have moved to sign released Chelsea defender George Brady to boost their developmental squad.
The 6'4" centre back, nephew of West Ham vice-chairman Karen Brady, was allowed to leave at the end of last season and will now join up with Robbie Stockdale's development squad on Wearside.
The 18-year-old confirmed the move himself over twitter.
Pleased to say that I am officially a @SunderlandAFC player ! Can't wait to get the season started !

Brady's name first rose to prominence in 2012 when Chelsea beat off competition from Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Tottenham to sign him for a £250,000 compensation fee from French club Cannes, where he was due to being raised in Monaco.
He quickly established himself in Chelsea youth teams, regularly captaining them through the levels, but ran into injury problems last season restricting him to just 10 appearances.
Unwise to expect a world-beater, but looks like a good solid punt by the club to me.
