You'd have to be living under a rock, Sunderland wise anyway, lately to have somehow missed the impressive form in the under-21s of Duncan Watmore.
The young forward has been in blistering form of late, scoring for fun and even picking up the Barclays under-21 league Player of the Month award for April, and he carried that on by scoring the winner against Chelsea.
In fact, with his direct style and sheer pace, there are many people suggesting he is what Sunderland need in their attack right now, if not starting games then at least as an impact option off the bench.
Former Sunderland coach, Darren Kelly, who has recently been appointed manager at Oldham has also publicly said Watmore should be in the Sunderland first team.
Dick Advocaat has resisted the temptation, insisting it wouldn't be fair on Watmore to throw him into a relegation battle, but there is no question he has ability.
Anyway, that's all for another day, and, whilst always warning of the dangers of reading too much into YouTube scouting, here is a highlights package of Watmore from the u-21s. Enjoy.
