If you've already booked your trains and hotels back to the North East for this one, you might want to think about changing your plans.
The game, originally scheduled for a 3pm kick off on Saturday the 4th of April, will now take place on Sunday the 5th of April at 4pm, with the game being broadcasted live on Skysports 1 as part of Super Sunday. It will be John Carver's first derby as Newcastle manager, and Gus Poyet's 4th - he'll be looking to make it five wins from five in derby games for Sunderland against our nearest and dearest.
When the sides met last at the Stadium of Light it was Gus Poyet's men who ran out winners, with Fabio Borini and Steven Fletcher getting on the score sheet.
A 4pm kick off means a full day out for most people - even better now it's on Easter weekend, so the next day is a bank holiday.
The upcoming game is just over six weeks away. Eek.
